Speaking of RATS, this will bring out two RAT-racists for sure--Paul Begala and Julian Bond. They play the race card from a bit more out of the spotlight than say, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Al Rangels, Harry Belafonte, Louis Farrakan or Maxine Waters, but they WILL play the race card on this.

As for the poor guy in question:

I suspect this is code for "left wing radical".
Even that isn't good enough for the racists in NYC.

That's true, especially if the white guy believes that the government can solve everyone's problems, as he seems to believe.
Instead of bitching about the white guy, why doesn't the 'black community' run one of its own for office?
Really I mean who cares, white, black makes no difference they're radical leftists first and as a result whichever wins their districts will remain third world hellholes.

I work in the "People's Republic of Park Slope"... For weeks now, there have been people walking around with clipboards and petitions, asking everyone if they're a democrat. They work for Yassky. I told one "NO, I'm not a Democrat", and she looked at me with a strange look, and said,"You're in the wrong 'hood!"
I hate that plkace, but I like my job, dammit.

the article says that Chuck Schumer is his mentor. i would guess his politics are close to schumer's.
He's pretty far to the left. Of course, the black candidates running in the CD are pretty far to the left as well. I'm sure they a differ on an issue here and there, but really color is the main separation factor here.
The CD went like 85%-15% for Kerry and contains the main white Communist area in Brooklyn, so getting these types of candidates is not surprising.
