U.S. can't 'redeploy' its way out of Iraq

Last week John Kerry revealed his plan to "redeploy" U.S. forces from Iraq. This plan is different from fellow Defeaticrat Jack Murtha's plan to "redeploy" U.S. forces from Iraq to Okinawa, which Congressman Murtha seems to think is in the general neighborhood of Iraq. Iraq's in the Middle East, Okinawa's in the Far East: C'mon, how far can it be to get from the Far to the Middle? After all, the distance between the farthest fringe of the kook left and the center of the Democratic Party seems to be closing up every week.
Anyway, Sen. Kerry doesn't want to waste time "redeploying" to Okinawa. When America "redeploys," it's not going to take a connecting flight via Japan and risk its luggage getting "redeployed" to Bratislava. No, sir, in John Kerry's America, we "redeploy" nonstop, straight back to Main Street in time for the Redeployment Day parade.

I think the American voters are going to redeploy some Democrats back to their home districts in November.

U.S. can't 'redeploy' its way out of Iraq Good. Because we're not going to.
Operation Together Forward is working. It's causing a lot of racket right now, because the scum is making a stand, but they're going to end up losing this and that will be yet another big step forward to really hack off the media and the Democrats.

I think the American voters are going to redeploy some Democrats back to their home districts in November. I like that! Some of the Republicans should start using that as a campaign slogan.

Mark Steyn's point is we can't "redeploy" because we are the world's only superpower. America is committed to obligations small countries have the luxury of being able to dodge. Its our credibility on the line as well as our future if we do not win the war on terror and Islamofascism both in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as around the globe. The Defeaticrats, led by the French Poodle Jean Francois Cheri, think America can leave the world to its own devices. Most Americans realize isolationism is an unworkable approach in a world in which great destructiveness can easily follow us to our own shores. 9/11 has been a vivid reminder of what can happen if we are not engaged with the world. We have no choice but to fight til we win the war over our enemny outright. That is our destiny. Americans do not want retreat under any name; they demand victory. The parallels between Vietnam and the current conflict are inaccurate, misleading and mistaken. Its clear the Democrats may not have gotten over the loss of Vietnam but for most Americans 9/11 reminds the defining event that shaped everything we do as a country. What matters in the final analysis is not what the French or the Russians think but what we do to keep our country safe from danger.

Funniest Mark Steyn quote: Redeployed Mexicans. I think that'll be the new PC description for illegal aliens if it catches on.

The Democratic mid-term platform can be summed up in two words: Lesser France. It does the French Poodle proud he wants America to be as atrophied in its power and as small in its dreams as France. I suspect most Americans don't want our country to become France. Hell no, we don't even want to go there!

The real problem of course is the Democrats' emphasis on a collection of domestic programs overlook the fact that without American engagement with the rest of the world, you will have underdeveloped states armed with modern military technology exporting their pathologies to the rest of the planet. That is going to happen whether or not we stay in Iraq. We have to stop that from spreading. But the Democrats don't seem overly concerned for the health of the planet unless its global warming. But the moral health of the planet is a more significant indicator of humanity's survival than whether the temperature rises a couple of degrees in Churchill, Manitoba. In other words, we've got a more serious problem to address. But in their fixation with redeployment, the Democrats have demonstrated above all, they're not a serious party. In an age when national security is our foremost issue. And their platform contains not a single mention of it!

John Kerry's Operation Pussy-Out did not get the popular reaction he thought it would. Are American's war weary? Yes. But they probably were even more so during WWII and they managed to stay focused on the war effort and ultimately that support and focus led to our victory.
To: croak
Mark Steyn makes mention of pipsqueak thug states. Ordinarily, they're not worth paying attention to but armed with weapons of mass destruction, they're capable of killing millions. I stated they're underdeveloped states. Its not their economic inconsequence that makes them a lethal threat; its all that Western military technology they're acquiring that does. And they have to be contained. Not from Washington D.C or anyplace equidistant from Okinawa the Democrats fancy us to redeploy to, but right where they are. That's why everything changed for most Americans right after 9/11. It never changed for Democrats who are still the Party Of 9/10.

Caught a replay of the Beltway Boys sometime during the night and one of them read a statement about how it would be devestating and destabilizing to retreat before the mission was completed even if it did begin with faulty intelligence.
That statement was written by none other than John Murtha.
Kondrake said it was written by Murtha before he got LIMELIGHT DISEASE.......LOLOL
