Jimmy Carter, you’re the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.

Clinton inherited what what have been a good outcome in Somalia, but at the first sign of trouble, he turned tail and fled.

As I recall the situation, GHWB had a reasonably successful, though limited, humanitarian effort in place. The tipping point that caused the trouble in the first place was clinton's on-the-fly (pardon the pun) changing of the mission objective from providing humanitarian assistance to apprehending Adid.

Well up a little anger please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets. Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot.

Yep. And continuing in the same vein would have borne some fruit. Its amazing, that first-Clinton went after a criminal, and second (less amazing) that the sight of blood sent Clinton screaming in terror. Thus opening the door to 9-11..

My nephew was there stationed with a unit of the Air Force,the equivalent of a Special Forces unit.What he told me of what he knew,firsthand of what went down,I was brought to tears.No,I will never be able to watch the movie,Blackhawk down.A draft dodger in chief is in no position to lead our great men and women in uniform.I feel sorry for the troops who had to salute him.Having served under Nixon,Ford,then Carter was all I could take.Seeing Carters mug everyday walking down the halls of the barracks was painful to say the least.I hold him personally responsible for the debacle his so called leadership has gotten us into.We have paid for it for many years now,and it will be awhile before we see the light at the end of the tunnel.Lord knows when the damage from Clinton's will be fully known.The Chinese gig has me very concerned.I am sure our Govt.knows what went down,but are keeping it super secret as to keep the institution of our Presidency intact.
