Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig today fined Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen an undisclosed amount and ordered him to attend sensitivity training for making offensive comments.
Commissioner Selig said: "On Tuesday night, Ozzie Guillen used language that is offensive and completely unacceptable. Baseball is a social institution with responsibility to set appropriate tone and example. Conduct or language that reflects otherwise will not be tolerated. The use of slurs embarrasses the individual, the club and the game."
To the re-education camp with you!!
So what did he say? Give it!
He referred to the homosexual writer, Jay M, in a "derogatory manner". Franckly, Ozzie deserves a medal for standing up to these nazis that attempt to misuse words andf avoid the truth - Jay is a open homosexual!
He called Jay Mariotti, from the Chicago Sun-Times, a fag. Yesterday, he called him a piece of ----. The fued between the two is pretty hilarious.
Tell us what you really think, Ozzie. LOL.
Actually, I don't think Jay is gay. I love it when some of these athletes/coaches start to give some of these guys a taste of their own medicine. They have to take so much crap, yet when they give a little back they get sent to sensitivity training. I can't stand Mariotti because he always trashes Bob Knight.
Selig is an idiot.
He is also one of the most obnoxious guys on ESPN.
Right. But the truth is that Ozzie has no reason to complain. If his name was John Smith and English was his first language, he would have been banished from baseball permanently.
My question is this: would the pc crowd be saying the same thing if Ozzie had simply said, "Marrioti is a homosexual"?
After all, in their minds being a homosexual is good . . .
True. John Rocker got 30 games. Ozzie gets sensitivity training. I think sensitivity training might be worse. Wanna make a bet a homosexual teaches that class?
I'm sure Guillen will move on to they Jooooos shortly. His type always does.
It's already almost impossible to get a sport-o to speak without a script to a sports writer. It just got harder.
I think that's wrong. I don't think he's gay.
From yesterday:

Ozzie is one of Hugo Chavez's biggest fans. I hope he fails at his job.
That's ridiculous. Ozzie Guillen is an MLB manager, not a charm school instructor.
I remember when Dusty Baker said that black players can play better than white players on hot days. I thought Baker stuck his foot in his mouth, but I didn't think he needed to be sent to a stalinist reeducation camp.
