To: U S Army EOD

There is a profound difference between a model airplane and a 747. The 747 with the nose broken off is going to be like a giant sock, which will brake the plane immediately.

Both 747's and 737's have flown and even landed with huge portions of their fuselage torn off. And TWA800 did tear apart very shorty into the event.

A giant tin sock traveling at 400 miles per hour... kinda like a parachute on a dragster I would think...

Could you get a 747 to do that kind of climb even with a nose? I doubt it, but I'm not a pilot.
