After being in Vienna for the EU-US summit for talks ranging from the Iran nuclear standoff to ways of reducing the West's foreign energy dependence, President and Mrs. Bush arrived in Budapest for a brief visit. The Bush's and SoS Rice listened to the Vienna Boys' Choir, among other cultural activities.
President and Mrs. Bush participated in a roundtable with foreign students in Vienna.

No upgrade. The PC guy was kind enough to sell me one of the 60 gig hard drives he used around his shop (I had a 60 gig) for $30 so that saved me a lot. There are still some squirrely things going on, such as an inability to Add / Remove programs in XP using their utility for it. But it works again.

Fabulous job Gretchen, thank you.
To: SuziQ
Hi suzi - it looked like a private performance from the photos I saw. It was interesting that the Bush's and Condi were all standing. Perhaps a very short performance?

Great photos! Thank you

That was hysterical (the hug). That guy looked huge.
Brit Hume played it tonite at his end of show segment. Loved the President's expression. Nothing fazes him.
Wonder what the dude got all those demerits for??

The tiled roof of Stephansdom (St. Stephen's)
The Stephansdom, or St. Stephen's Cathedral, is an island of Gothic magnificence in a sea of Baroque and 19th Century architecture. Most of the church dates back to the 14th, 15th, and 16th Centuries, with the Romanesque "Giant's Doorway" on the west façade dating back to the early 1200s. The Hochturm or south tower, at 450 feet or 137 meters, is roughly the height of a 45-story office building--yet it was built more than 600 years ago, half a millenium before the invention of the modern skyscraper.

Wonder what the dude got all those demerits for?? I wondered the same thing. Maybe that's why the other graduates roared their approval; they wanted it for him as bad as he wanted it. What a cute story.

Thanks, McGavin. I had to scramble a bit due to late-breaking computer problems after I just got the PC back from the shop. Things have settled down now.
