Its too late IMHO. If their citizens haven't started fighting by now then they won't. I country was given to them, they didn't earn it.
The above is to be applied as a general statement and not meant to diminish the honor of those people that have stood up and are trying to take their country back. I unfortunately believe they have more cowards then they have brave.

The AQ does not play by the same PC-rules that we are forced to abide by. THAT will make it look like we are losing the war.
I'll blame any losses on the MSM, Murtha and the like.

I think that the populace is armed. I remember an NRA article stating that the second amendment works in Iraq very nicely.
I don't know if the contract workers are armed, though.
Allegra? What do you know?

It was just an initial thought that passed when more info came out...
Thanks for the praise on the tagline. Can't take credit, though, it's paraphrased from an article I read a while back and I should have given credit then when I rememberd the author...

They are in a last dicth effort trying to force people to look at the US as the cause of these acts. If the US leaves, they would be safe. I believe to misunderestimate the Iraqi people. I can't see the end of this, but, I do believe there is a turning of the tide.
First: Find this Zaker wannabe and kill him.
Next step: public hanging of Hussein.

Exactly, it is not making sense. Then another report says 100 men and 'dozens' of terrorists herding them.
If it is true the men know they are going to be killed, and so, would they not fight?
Sounds strange.

Exactly, it is not making sense. Breaking News seldom does. Hang in

Signs of the apocalypse--the neighbors are requested to restrict their backyard target practice to daylight hours.
Today is the Midnight Sun Festival. It won't be dark again until September.

All Iraqis are permitted to have an AK-47 with one magazine of ammunition. Many Iraqis, though, have much more than a mere 30 rounds. Iraq is considered to be one of the most heavily-armed countries in the world, in terms in citizen gun ownership.

It's a show of force by the new AlQ leader in Iraq. I guess quantity matters.

They likely could have been a Shia terrorist group such as the Madhi Army that did it. These mass round ups are purely to get a few thousand dollars a person for someone like Sadr to keep up his lifestyle.

Hysterical/traitorous/propaganda MSM alert.
Believe nothing at this point.

How on earth would factory workers deaths help the terrorists cause. This makes no sense to me. It's a scare tactic ... Zarqawi did the same in the beginning .. it didn't work and now he's dead as a door nail

Good morning.
"How on earth would factory workers deaths help the terrorists cause. This makes no sense to me."
How did the killing of the kids in Beslan help the Chechins?
The ROP murderers are trying to terrorize the Iraqis out of resisting them and to show that they are still a threat.
For the 80 factory workers they are a threat. You can't hide this many prisoners, so they have probably already killed them. This will rebound on the murderers.

A post above said they may carry concealed pistols. Apparently this is not being done or the 80 would have not been rounded up.
