DUBAI (Reuters) - The new leader of al Qaeda in Iraq "slit the throats" of two U.S. soldiers whose bodies were found in Baghdad, according to a statement posted on the Internet on Tuesday.
"God Almighty has graced the leader Abu Hamza al-Muhajir ... with the implementation of the sentence," said a statement from the al Qaeda-led Mujahideen Shura Council. It said the two had been killed by having their throats slit.
The statement could not be authenticated. It was posted on one Web forum used by Islamists, but not on the main site used by Iraqi insurgent groups.
The same group had said in a statement on Monday, a few hours before the bodies were found, that it had abducted them and would provide more details in the coming days.
Endless quotes from the fascist bastards, the giddy emotionalism, the revelry in the deaths of Americans. It's absolutely disgusting garbage.
I don't care what our military does to these people! I have NO need to know whether or not we have killed these barbarians. The more the better, though. I am so sick of hearing that we are torturing these pigs. I DON'T CARE!
He has crazed evil looking eyes.
That's okay, I knew who you were posting to. And I think you're right, it's probably a sign of contempt, showing that they're slaughtering people the way they'd kill a chicken or some such thing.
"We spotted what we believe to be them late last night, as it was dark," said Caldwell, who initially refused to confirm or deny whether the bodies were believed to be those of the soldiers -- or even whether two bodies had been found.
"Not knowing for sure, we went ahead and established a cordon around the area to protect it, so it would be undisturbed until daylight this morning."
At dawn, explosives teams and other assets were brought in for the recovery effort, he said. Insurgents previously have complicated recovery efforts by booby-trapping the areas around bodies.
"They did have to dismantle some stuff to get to them," Caldwell said.

from MSNBC:
U.S. soldiers found the bodies based on a tip from a reliable Iraqi source, military officials told NBC News. U.S. forces had to literally fight their way to the bodies; enemy forces laid a series of improvised explosive devices, also known as IEDs, on the primary route to the bodies.
Reckoning
Thank you-
Do I read this to mean the area where the bodies of our soldiers were found, was rigged with explosives?
Never mind- I just read your next post.
UNBELIEVABLE.
I think we should all keep a can of bacon grease in the kitchen for just such purposes.
Why haven't we used the pig-fat proposal in the past? Or let it be known that all are bullets are now dipped in it. or SOMETHING DAMMIT~!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope thay find this POS fast...
Worked for Vlad the Impaler! Should work for us!
CA....
Those bastards! God has some justice waiting for them.
God bless our soldiers who died.
That needed repeating.
it's almost like we gotta leave ourselves on bullet incase things get too hot so we don't get captured....
