DUBAI (Reuters) - The new leader of al Qaeda in Iraq "slit the throats" of two U.S. soldiers whose bodies were found in Baghdad, according to a statement posted on the Internet on Tuesday.

"God Almighty has graced the leader Abu Hamza al-Muhajir ... with the implementation of the sentence," said a statement from the al Qaeda-led Mujahideen Shura Council. It said the two had been killed by having their throats slit.

The statement could not be authenticated. It was posted on one Web forum used by Islamists, but not on the main site used by Iraqi insurgent groups.

The same group had said in a statement on Monday, a few hours before the bodies were found, that it had abducted them and would provide more details in the coming days.

If it's true, G-d keep the souls of those two poor soldiers. And may the animals who committed the crime reap sevenfold what they sowed.

Carpet bomb the entire village where our boys were found. Send a message to everyone that unless they start policing their own areas and turning in al quaida they will suffer more of the same treatment.

Flatten the bastards.

I don't care if this latest barbaric fiend did it or not.

Track him down and slit his throat till his orange juice runs down his robes.

It's called "preventative maintenance."

What is important is how our elected leaders and our military responds. I await that response with keen interest.

True.

Pershing knew how to fight the Muzzie lunatics - shoot a bunch with bullets dipped in pig fat, then let one or two who witnessed this go to tell their friends about it. The press'll be outraged, but who cares - the animals will hesitate to keep doing what they've been doing.

That's never been proven. He threatened it, but it's NOT known if it was ever carried out, although if you read the emails, which I guarantee that's where you got that from, you'll believe it.

And no - I'm not suggesting prisons full of political prisoners aka - Communist China and Russia.

Correct.

We should simply seize their property and give it to combat veterans, strip them of their citizenship and ban them from holding public office or any other form of federal employment.

There is no need for prison - their speech should not be stifled. They are free to say whatever they want, but they are not free from having to defray the financial costs that their speech incurs.

I am ready to give him the credit and a few bombs to go with it. I am sure the folks in McAlister, OK, where they make these bombs would be more than happy to replenish any bombs used to kill this terrorist leader.

The General who gets the pressers said today they killed a guy who was in the top five of Iraq al Queda. My guess since he was in the hood where our brave soldiers died that he was the one running this op and not the new number one guy. But this also means within the last two weeks we have taken out number one and somebody else in the top tier. Keep this up and we keep the crippled and always looking over thier shoulder.
STAY THE COURSE MR PRESIDENT!

"Maybe that's why the cowards wear masks."

Speaking of masks, our local sheriff's department sponsored a calendar that could be purchased by local merchants, etc. It showed all of the sheriff's deputies in black with semi-auto (or full-auto for all I know) weapons and black ski masks over their faces. It was impossible to identify any individual deputy. I wrote the sheriff a letter asking him if this was America, or had he hired some Arabs. No response, but the picture was chilling to me.

Unfortunately I anticipate this was planned all along as the way for the new cowardly terrorist leader to stake his claim to infamy and yank the news cycles off Zarqawi's death and back to negative drumbeats 24/7.

God bless these young soldiers who gave their lives for country. And may their loved ones find comfort during their grief.

The nice thing about this is that the subsequent "numbers one" become increasingly less experienced and more zealous, ultimately leading to a complete breakdown of any order.

honestly I wouldn't mind bread and water only, but there MIGHT be a method to the madness.

Let's remember that the people running GITMO are intel specialists and MIGHT know a bit more about coaxing information out of them than us on this internet forum.
