Iraq Qaeda leader killed two US soldiers

DUBAI (Reuters) - The new leader of al Qaeda in Iraq "slit the throats" of two U.S. soldiers whose bodies were found in Baghdad, according to a statement posted on the Internet on Tuesday.

"God Almighty has graced the leader Abu Hamza al-Muhajir ... with the implementation of the sentence," said a statement from the al Qaeda-led Mujahideen Shura Council. It said the two had been killed by having their throats slit.

The statement could not be authenticated. It was posted on one Web forum used by Islamists, but not on the main site used by Iraqi insurgent groups.

The same group had said in a statement on Monday, a few hours before the bodies were found, that it had abducted them and would provide more details in the coming days.

Mikey,

We all know where you stand on the issue. Remember to refer with incisive words and stern admonishment.

"I am just pointing out when someone mentions honor, I do not feel dropping 1000 lbs worth of bombs on one or two guys is THAT honorable a fight, talk about defenseless."

War is about killing combatants. The side who kills more combatants faster than the other side wins. Thankfully we have superior technology on our side. If you're (not you personally) stupid enough to come up against a superpower, death can be meted out in a few hundred different ways. The islamo-morons have had enough time to sit down and watch the Discovery channel and see their comrades get blown to bits by allah-bombs from afar. If they STILL want to play this game, we should welcome them with open arms.

"Defenseless"?

Maybe they should buy an Air force or something....

Hint: Don't come to the Iraq war II armed with AK's and dull knives.

You don't have a frickin clue where I stand. And it's relatively obvious you'd like our troops to fight as cowardly as the enemy does. So why don't just take your stupid genocidal attitudes, your idiocy, your condensation, ball them up tightly and shove them up your arse.

Remember this next time some liberal starts whining about US treatment of insurgents (terrorists) in Iraq.

To-date, every soldier captured by the terrorists has returned dead, or not at all.

Those who believe our adherence to the Geneva convention protects OUR troops are delusional.

Its time to put that concept behind us and simply kill them all. Taking prisoners is pointless because you have to turn them loose sooner or later and they know it.

NO FRICKIN QUARTER, DO IT NOW!

More is happening then you can possibly imagine regarding this situation and serving justice to those responsible - Without question those responsible will be killed....and it will happen sooner rather then later (some are already dead).

There is no such thing as a fair fight.

You win with the least amount of effort on your part while extracting the maximum in damage from the other side.

Something politicians fail to understand.

Unfortunately FR has grown a relatively abundant crop of arm-chair generals.

I'm sure I'd be in that group too, except I spent a year over there and I kinda have an idea still of how/what/where and why things are happening the way they are....

Not totally, but seemingly more of a clue than most others unfortunately....

Not only that- but way before we got the news here in the States- ever since these guys went missing- the plans have been made, orders given, and action taken.

Even while we were screaming for vengeance this morning- things were (and are) happening in Iraq that we have NO idea about.

Someday books will be written and we can get a glimpse...of what happened, how it went, how it should have gone...

Meantime...I would like to challenge anyone who feels enraged and helpless to send a letter to a soldier- let em know you're behind them.

The new Iraq Qaeda leader killed two US soldiers

Pure BS - But al Qeada most certainly knows how to play the PR game (and our media will help them all they can).

yep....

the media can be quick to get a story out, but they aren't quicker than the commanders on the ground in Iraq.

Be a little patient,Abu Hamza al-Muhajir's days are numbered, there are 120,000 good American soldiers looking for him, and chances are he will meet with a rather serious mistake, like a gun accidentally being discharged into his groin area while being transported.

OOOoops, hit a bump!

Just joining the thread now; no time to read. I simply wanted to make sure I added my condolences to this thread, as I had been praying for these two since we first heard about them.

I'm just sick at heart about the outcome. Please, someone, anyone, take this new AQ guy out ASAP.
