Where was there POW status?
Where are the Guantanamo critics? The Haditha critics?
If our guys don't fight to the death, then they'll be killed anyway.
God bless their families and friends.

I just heard the news. So very sad, they played the taped call of one of the men less than 10 minutes before the announcement.

They said it was coming from Reuters via the Iraqi Defense Ministry Anyone from our government saying this yet? Not that the Iraqi government wouldn't jump the gun and announce a rumor, but they're kind of new at this. I'm going to wait for some of our own guys to report this before I give up.

Fox&Friends earlier reported that the al-Qaeda had released a tape of downing a helicopter and claiming capture of the soldiers. They didn't show any video of the soldiers, however.
Fox&Friends stated that they were also looking for a 2nd source for confirmation of this Reuters report. (No trust in Reuters as sole source, apparently.)
Prayers for the family.

Wait for the MSM to report that if we had withdrawn our troops in accordance with their posturing and editorials, this wouldn't have happened.

It's very sad that they were killed, but it's much better than having them being held hostage by al-Qaeda, paraded in front of a video camera before being beheaded. At least this search didn't last too long. Hopefully it was a search, and not a case of money (or other valuables) changing hands.

This just sucks! I figured that they were as good as dead when I learned of their capture. Now, I want to know what all the 'Rat crybabies and their "human rights" minions will be saying today about these murdered soldiers. Probably nothing since they don't give a damn about our our servicemen and women. Or worse, that it was our fault and that we need to withdraw from Iraq to prevent this from happening again. Disgusting!

Prayers for the consolation of the families of these heroes. Their battle is over, may they rest in perfect peace and love.

Very sad news. I don't think anyone really expected a different outcome, but it hurts to hear it confirmed.
