(Al Gore Does Not Believe In) The Sun of God

Who, besides Al Gore, would be surprised that Mars' ice caps are shrinking? And how about this: Jupiter is brewing up new, monster, hurricane-like storms because of measured increases in Jovian temperatures. Why is it I don't believe “greenhouse gases” are at fault?

Here's the deal, one of God's great creations – the Sun – is going through another one of its on-again, off-again solar cycles. Sometimes it burns a little brighter, other times it emits a little less energy. The result? Every planet in our solar system either gets a little warmer or cooler depending on our sole energy source. The massive furnace in the center of our solar system is pretty consistent, but it isn't perfectly constant.

Earth's scientists have determined that every globe, I mean, every planet, in the solar system is currently experiencing a warming trend – including Earth. I was surfing the Internet recently and came across two fascinating articles from Space.com. The first headline reads, ''New Storm on Jupiter Hints at Climate Change.'' Here's what planetary scientists have discovered:

Little is known about how storms form on the giant planet. They are often described as behaving similar to hurricanes on Earth. Some astronomers believe that the spots dredge up material deep below Jupiter's clouds and lift it to where the Sun's ultraviolet light chemically alters it to give it a red hue.

The latest images could provide evidence that Jupiter is in the midst of a global change that can modify temperatures by as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit on different parts of the globe.The study was led jointly by Imke de Pater and Philip Marcus of University of California, Berkeley.

''The storm is growing in altitude,'' de Pater said. Before when they were just ovals they didn't stick out above the clouds. Now they are rising.This growth signals a temperature increase in that region," she said.

Of course it signals a temperature increase. When temperatures rise, gases rise. Clouds (made up of gases) rise. This is basic physics.

The other article was written several years ago. The thrust of this scientific writing was Mars' ice caps have been observed to be shrinking.

"In the other study, led by Michael C. Malin, features at the South Pole were observed to retreat by up to 10 feet (3 meters) from one Martian year to the next. The odd shapes – circular pits, ridges and mounds – were first photographed in 1999. Since then, the features have eroded away by up to 50 percent."

Two good, straight-forward science articles that prove Jupiter and Mars are warming. No politics to get bogged down in. No agendas to sort out. Simple facts: Temperatures on Jupiter and Mars are rising.

Now, is anyone surprised the Earth is also experiencing a warming trend? Please, I'm begging you; tell me why these articles weren't splashed across the front pages of every newspaper in the country? Aren't these scientific observations shocking considering the massive amounts of press, television specials, radio broadcasts, classroom time, and dining room conversations this country has devoted to the misnomer, ''global warming''? The most prominent news story on the planet Earth in the new millennium has been that man and his evil combustion engine have begun the cooking of the planet by the suffocating amounts of carbon dioxide – a (GASP!) greenhouse gas – we've pumped into our atmosphere.

Fast fact: Did you know when the Earth was in the grips of one of its great Ice Ages, carbon dioxide levels were significantly higher than they are today?

Take a deep breath. All is well. Our climate has changed due to the efforts of the Sun of God, not people like the son of Senator Al Gore, Sr.

Why not put the guilt trip back in the closet? Why not let yourself off the hook? We have discovered one of God's great creations, the Sun, is throwing off a little more energy these days and warming all the planets in our solar system. That's worthy of a global celebration, right?

And, with the information we now have, can we get rid of the phrase, ''global warming,'' and start using the more appropriate, ''solar warming''?

Look, the Sun of God is an unimaginably powerful furnace. Take a moment to learn a little bit about the closest star to the Earth and re-educate yourself about how tiny and insignificant we are. It will also help when politicians and those with a purely political agenda stop scaring us with the threat of imminent death as a result of man-made global warming.

Just for kicks, next time one of these hysterical, science-challenged scare-mongers spews their voo-doo environmentalism your way, ask them if they know what the No. 1 greenhouse gas is. It is water vapor! Let me repeat that so you don't forget. Water vapor, not carbon dioxide, is, by far, the most prevalent of all the greenhouse gasses. Water vapor! In fact, water vapor accounts for about 95 % of the greenhouse effect on our planet.

The Sun of God, not the by-products of man's combustion engines, is responsible for the mild increases in temperature on Earth, Mars and Jupiter. And that's only inconvenient to Al Gore, Jr.

Some additional points that acknowledge the Sun, and the overall solar environment of the solar system, as the fuel in the global warming fire:

(1)From The Sun itself:

The Sun - 1 - Magnetic Field Since 1901, the sun's magnetic field has become 230% stronger.

The Sun - 2 - Energy Output - Since the 1970s the energy output of the sun has increased by 0.05% per decade, or 0.15% up to now. Of course, that's not saying how much it might have increased from prior centuries before it was measured in the 1970s.

The Sun - 3 - Sunspots - Sunspots are related to the Sun's magnetic field and their occurance rises and falls with the Sun's energy cycles. And, Solar scientists say there have been more sunspots since the 1940s than in the past 1150 years.

The Sun - 4 - Solar Flares - Solar flares are magnetic storms on the Sun. They are huge eruptions of vast amounts of very hot high-energy particles and gases (from 3.6 million to 24 million °F), ejected far into space. A solar flare on November 4 of 2003 was described by scientists as one that "will go into the history books as one of the most dramatic solar activity periods in modern times" and "there has been none like it" as far as we know.

The Sun - 5 - Coronal Mass Ejection - Another type of solar event is called a "coronal mass ejection" - a huge, balloon-shaped burst of solar plasma that moves along the Sun's magnetic field lines and release s up to 220 billion pounds (100 billion kg) of plasma at temperatures up to tens of millions of degrees Fahrenheit. Recent measurements have shown they now travel into space faster than before - possibly indicating a greater level of energy and force behind their ejection.

(2) From Pluto - Pluto has been heading (in its normal orbit) away from the sun since 1989. And yet, a funny thing is that its atmospheric pressure has increased 300% since 1989. In spite of very low temperatures at Pluto, so far in space from the Sun, its atmosphere is warming.

(3) From Neptune and Uranus - When the interstellar probe Voyager passed Neptune, it recorded Neptune's magnetic field was offset 50% on its axis, suggesting its poles had shifted in the last 100 years. Voyager also found that the magnetic field of Uranus was offset by 60%, suggesting another pole shift. Are those shifts unrelated to the increased intensity of the Sun's magnetic field? Measurements from 1996 to 2002 show Neptune is 40% brighter in the infrared wavelength and some cloud bands in its atmosphere are 100% brighter. Neptune's atmosphere seems to be changing greatly and quickly, in recent years.

(4) From Jupiter - In addition to the items noted in the report this thread began with; the magnetic field of Jupiter has increased 200%. Along with this change, a tube of plasma (highly energized particles) has formed between Jupiter and its moon Io, with a strength of 1 million amperes. There are no astronomical references to this observation until very recently.

<(5) From Mars - In addition to the items noted in the report this thread began with; the density of the Martian atmosphere increased 200% between the 1970s and 1999; the ozone decreased (like Earth's?); there are more clouds (more land-locked water is vaporizing?) and some features on its ice caps have eroded 50% (since 1999). NASA scientists admit that "Mars may be in the midst of a profound climate change".[Should we ask if NASA helped General Motors set up a SUV test facility up there?]

(6) From The Moon - Since the 1960s, the moon has started to form an atmosphere of sodium and potassium compounds. Those compounds were probably always present in the Moon's crust, but something recent has caused changes (energy?) to release them into the low gravity around the Moon.

It seems increasingly clear to me, global warming is part of solar system-wide changes related to the Sun. And, short of moving Earth to the orbit of another sun, there is not a dam thing we can do about it, other than adapt to it, no matter how much warmer the climate of Earth becomes.

For those girlie-men out there, that's a really scary thought because they expect the nanny-state politicians to tell them they can prevent anything adverse from ever happening, like Gods - if only we let them take something from someone and give it to someone else. Therefore, it is necessary, for the nanny-state politicians to give the current politicized excuse for global warming. It helps justify their political existence; just as it provides a convenient excuse for expanding global one-world government agendas.

If the natural global warming trend is long term and inclined to become too extreme for us, then maybe the space program is necessary. It can help our descendants, in the next 1 or 2 thousand years, move to a temporary galactic Florida, until Earth returns to an energy state where God can bless it again with humans.

Meanwhile, get back into your SUVs, keep the air conditioner running, and wait. Eventually we will have a paradigm shift in the scientific community, which will claim "Eureka", with all I have just told you. It's the Sun stupid.

Hopefully, by then, our technology or our spirit will have advanced and everyone can say "Scottie" or "Mom" or "Jesus" "Beam me up".
