ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - Former state Republican party chairman John Dendahl is the partys new nominee to challenge Democratic Governor Bill Richardson.
State Republican Party Chairman Allen Weh says Dendahl, 67, was nominated by unanimous voice vote Saturday at a Republican State Central Committee meeting in Albuquerque.
Goodie. Dendahl is pretty much of a junkyard dog. He is NOT afraid to go negative in a campaign, which, is frankly necessary to win an election.
P.S. I Freep-searched on 'Dendahl' and 'Richardson' before postinng.
ping!!
Darn. I was hoping that some classy, intelligent, conservative lady would've taken him on.
Someone like Diane Irey.
Heather Wilosn, maybe, but she's not too conservative...
Please do not alter titles. The title you created has to be changed to the original published title.
Dendahl is tough, but also largely perceived as a bit of a nutjob and control freak over the party here. He's got less chance of beating Billy than I do. My guess is that he knows it's a lost cause and he wants to use the 2006 campaign to drag a load of stuff out into the light to be used against Richardson in 2008 (Yes, he's running for the White House)
Is that a copyright issue?
The original title says almost nothing about the real story itself. Oh well,,,,,,
Looks to me like Hillary did Richardson a favor, and pulled up Damron's FBI file. It sure worked on Guiliani on '02.
