I don't think I'd ever seen that before, Ali; very important find. But now I'm discouraged all over again.
Why isn't the administration highlighting this stuff? It would increase support for the war, the military and the Republican led effort to oust Saddam.
I do (listen) and they are (out of touch) and email (to no avail) that they should get out into Middle America and get their feet on solid ground once in a while.
#526 Yeah, is that not a shame or what?
Thank you for the clarification...................
But Jack Murtha is still a dork and it does not let the Marine Corps off the hook for a gigantic leadership failure and collaspe in the higher command echlon and the upper command shining the shellac on their office chairs with their butt cheeks and doing the job security thing by hanging a bunch of enlisted people to dry.
THAT IS SHAMELESS.............
When i was in the Corps this is shamelessly called "passing the buck".
hey there....
sorry I have been so absent lately...
I am still working hard right now on something pretty awesome... a great testimony of God and his AWESOME healing power.
I need to take a break from it... oy!
I need a shower too! LOL!
I STINK!
;-)
wooooooooops!
that earlier post was to be to snugs + ALL!
oy--
And who can forget Sandy Burglar.
#544, He has been dirty for decades, he has covered up his tracks and made lots of friends because of his position on the appropriations committee. He even has pubbies trying to talk nice about him and he has big connections in the Defense Industry, and that is how he was able to help out his Brother and Pelosi's relatives, and lots of other People that in turn will grease his palm.
Hi there look forward to hearing the testimony when you get a chance.
All:
Off to eat my dinner now, roast pork, stuffing, roast potatoes, spinach and apple sauce.
See you soon
It's good practice
Whoa - kinda like an atomic wedgie, eh?
Gotta take off for a while, batman and keylime pie are calling.
So , you thing we need another general denunciation? I don't. I know statistics and I have worked at a couple of the big polling firms, too. However, general blanket denunciation just leads to cynicism. It is about as useful as R Kennedy claiming exit polls prove the Ohio election was stolen. If you think the Greys are behind it all, call Art Bell.
Me too. Other chores call.
Have fun people!
I wasn't passing judgement on the topic as a valid point to raise when discussing Murtha. I don't have enough information. I was just answering the question of whether or not he was involved in Abscam in any way.
An additional tidbit of information I haven't seen mentioned yet is that one of the federal prosecutors in this case resigned in protest over the decision not to indict Murtha. He felt that they did have sufficient evidence against him and that the decision to let him go was poitically based.
I agree with your take on this that "no conviction" means it's best to let this dog lie, at least as far as publicly accusing Murtha. It is helpful, however, to include it in our discussions as a valid part of the background material.
When the totality of the evidence is weighed, the fact that Murtha escaped indictment in ABSCAM says far less about his innocense than it does about the corruption of our justice system. We just received another reminder of that corruption this week with the announced decision to give Cynthia McKinney a pass for assaulting a police officer.
ROFLOL!
Great post Morgan
