It would be me, too. Good thing I'm not press secretary.
I am waiting for Shieffer to ask a question different then Chris's! Maybe Blitzer will.
Now we have Oprah crashing weddings too, but at least she's bringing gifts.
Something sick about seeking adoration from strangers.
Must be because they can't get any adoration from those who know them well.
Tony is such an insider, to Schieffer, "your brother the Ambassador to Japan!" LOL
Really, the questions even seem to be in the same order!
LOL, cuts down on prep time!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing this. Democrats have yet to learn their old excuses are failing.
Great plan. Second thought. Hurry up and leave before we win.
"Remember slick willie crashing weddings wherever he went?"
I had never heard that! LMAO
Looking for virgins, maybe?
I heard him explain his position on Iraq to Imus last week and while it sounded reasonable as he was talking, 30 seconds later I couldn't tell what he said.
Other efforts to garner attention: x42 carrying his 5 lb. Bible (and meeting Monica after church) and taking communion in a Catholic church.
When he's not flip flopping he's lying thru his teeth.
But then the deaths of 'those' people don't really matter.
Very funny! I agree that "Goober" is creepy. What does Rush call him? Vice President Graham.
I had heard some time ago about this, but didn't know so...
I recently looked at him and thought, yeah, maybe.
If true, how nasty to use a sick man like that, but sadly predictable for that crowd.
Virtually the entire African American community nation wide has given slavish devotion, literally, to the Democrat party for 80 years. The supposed quid for this quo was the expectation that the party would cover for people like William Jefferson. After all, they do it for the Kennedy's.
Here in Memphis, when some pretty grotesque corruption in the city government and city schools system was exposed, the attitude of the Black Democrat leaders was "you white folks ripped off the people of this town for 60 years under folks like Boss Crump, now it's our turn." They seriously thought that it was OK and that the party owed them protection when they got caught. The same thing is happening with the "Tennessee Waltz" corruption sting operation I mentioned earlier. The race card got played big time in the first trial and the black state legislator got convicted anyway. There are now rumblings of the black community feeling betrayed by the Democrat party. "If it was a white politician he would have gotten off!" is a common refrain.
They're finally seeing that the Democrats don't hold up their end of the bargain.
I think the nail in the coffin of the Democrat/Black three legged race may be when Kweisi Mfume loses the Maryland primary to a white Democrat backed by the party. If that happens watch for Steele to take that seat for the Republicans with substantial black support.
This is part of the reason I think Republicans will gain in both the House and Senate this fall and that will lead to the end of the Democrat party as we know it, particularly splitting off the previously monolithic black vote. I think it will end up being broken up between the Republican party, with the growing black middle class, particularly the successful entrepreneurs, and the rest going to some new race based or overtly leftist parties.
As usual, Brit Hume is the soul of common sense. If al Qaeda chooses to fight us in Iraq and Afganistan, isn't it a good idea to go over there and fight them. Juan says it's all sectarian violence in Iraq and we are caught in the middle (talking point echoed by Murtha). Recall that there are 50,000 Iraqis fighting in Baghdad and they are fighting WITH us.
