ISDN is the standard arrangement for remote studio connections. I've worked with many people who host radio programs or produce them. They all use ISDN to do the remote connection. Art is using an 802.11g wireless connection to his computer to handle the web/desktop chat.
Drudge has said he uses ISDN to do his Sunday night show. They're dual channel also. It works pretty well from what others have said.
He said he was only getting 1MB for his Internet, that's not that great. I am getting 7+ MB from my cable connection. I am surprised the 128K ISDN is used for remote hosting. I would think a Frame Relay VPN tunnel be ideal considering the higher speeds, privacy and level of service guarantees.
