N. Koreans Ordered To Raise Their Flag At 2PM, and Listen to Broadcast
N. Korean leadership ordered its citizen to raise their flag and listen to their (government) communique from TV in the evening, according to Sankei Shimbun (of Japan), quoting Japanese government sources.
The paper said it is paying attention this development because it could be related to the launch of Taepodong-2.

Where else but FreeRepublic would a potential We Are Doomed Catastrophe, 10 minutes away from fruition, lead us to recipes for lobster!

I never bought into any kind of religious food ban.
I'm sorry, but my sense is that the God I know would never care about something so irrelevant.
Its like saying the word "shit" is a sin... of course it isn't. Its bad manners, might be socially unacceptable, but wasn't even a word back in the day and God is certainly not so petty.
Of course exercises in faith, such as fasting during Lent, or not eating meat on Fridays, I think are totally appropriate, but I highly doubt the almighty would cast anyone to hell for it one way or the other.

Since it's confession time I'll tell one of my deepest darkest secrets too.
I ate my first banana with the skin still on and got deathly sick. Never touched a banana since. Ugh!

I was born and raised in Maine. When she was young, according to my mother, you could tell the poor kids at school because they had lobster sandwiches.....

When my kids were little they used to name the lobsters...couldn't cook 'em then.

I don't know about that. But, there is a site called Google Earth Hacks. They have forums that might answer the question

I ate my first banana with the skin still on and got deathly sick. I did that once, on a dare. I ate the whole thing including the peel. It didn't make me sick but it was mighty filling.
