Turning to me while I was eating a lovely shrimp scampi meal (she was having something else at the time) she said the author of the book compares the shrimp to a certain creature around the average home.
When I asked her what he meant she said that the land equivalent of the shrimp is the COCKROACH and it a marine scavenger as is the lobster, oysters, clams, catfish, sole and other bottom feeders.
Of course it grossed me out but I didn't skip a beat with my delicious shrimp meal!
