"Both are snakes and RINOs."
If everyone's a RINO, what is a Republican In Name?
You see, this is the kind of discussions that this party needs to have before November. What does "Republican" mean if it doesn't mean the Platform?

I voted for the President on the basis of the other guy being worse, not because I supported "compassionate conservatism". Ah, a One Percenter.
Nobody here cares.

"Ah, a One Percenter."
I believe in the Constitution and Limited Government.
If that's a "one percenter" to you, then so be it.
"Nobody here cares."
Then why does it bother you so? Seriously?

There are both liberal and conservative Republicans. The liberal wing seems to be running the party these days.
Well at least you understand there are more in the Party than just the so called truetm conservatives. As to the liberal wing well I'd say that's an opinion and if'n it's true then the truetm conservatives have failed again at controlling the state parties.

Because I don't want ONE PERSON who reads this forum to think I agree with what you're saying.
You don't speak for Republicans OR conservatives, real OR pretend ones.

No a RINO is one that takes support from Republicans and once elected do everything in their power to bite the hand that feeds them. Here is a cold hard fact. Conservatives make up about 25% of the Republican party yet we get 85% of the committee chairmanships, House and Senate leadership positions and 95% of the pandering. There will NEVER be anything close to a governing party made up of "true conservatives" because this country is not on the far right. It never has been and it will never be.

So, WFBFan, did you join FR a couple weeks ago simply to bash Bush and the GOP?
Go home to the DUmmies.

Yep and the cowardly Republicans in Congress that are "distancing" themselves from him take the money anyway. Tancredo, are you listening? Tancredo and House Republicans are partially responsible why conservatives are mobilized and will help the GOP retain Congress.

"Tancredo and House Republicans are partially responsible why conservatives are mobilized and will help the GOP retain Congress."
That's certainly my hope. We need to make sure House Republicans don't get punished for the actions of some Senate Republicans.

I sure hope he goes to PA to stump for Irey, Swann, and Santorum. I especially want to see Murtha go down. That would be right up their with the dumping of Dashle.

Look, as tough as I am on Tancredo and think he is a phony I would vote for him over ANY democrat. He at least votes conservative on all of the issues I care about. I just think he is using immigration as his vehicle to start a 3rd party movement with him at the top of its ticket.

I disagree with him on immigration too. It's sad, really. He has the potential to be a great Republican leader but instead is squandering it on a possible agenda.
To: Howlin
LMAO!
Glad to see you back, I was so sorry to learn of your loss.
