"Bush is the only elected official in DC that is actually standing by his principles."

I've given up on the President ever coming around to the true conservative viewpoint, but I'll give you that...he stands by his principles, polls be damned.

You know, it's pretty amusing that you would assume that anyone who disagrees with White House domestic policy and doesn't march in lockstep is somehow a liberal.

God, I wish I had a dollar for every time somebody posted that on FR.

How utterly unoriginal.

Well we disagree on what "true conservative" means.

I knew that was going to come up the moment I hit "Post."

"As far as my credentials...get stuffed. "

Web credentials aren't all that impressive on their own. You don't know me, but I also don't know you. If I reacted to heatedly to the "we control the party now" thing from Howlin, I apologize.

On the last, you'll want page 49.

"Why should I believe anything you say, especially since you are insulting anyone who disagrees with you?"

I'm insulting anyone who disagrees with me?

Yes, I see that he apparently does. I will be leaving this thread, as I don't wish to be put on suspension for questioning his credentials.

"Now how can you make a statement like that, seeing as you've only been here a few days and all."

I can read a posting history as well as anyone.

"Nobody claimed it did; what it does do is enable one to more readily identify a disruptor."

On the contrary, there are many people here who have claimed it did/does.

"I'm calling you one."

What am I disrupting, again?

No kidding? Now you've really exposed yourself. Unless you spent an inordinate amount of time going back in my "posting history," I haven't posted anything for the last 35 days except stuff about my mother.

What am I disrupting, again?

You are being divisive; this is a conservative site, maybe just not your kind of "conservative."

FR is supporting Republicans this year -- not third parties, nor "sitting it out."

The "next posts" button works pretty well and fast.

My sincere condolences for your loss, by the way.

Baloney; there is nothing in my posting for the last few months that would give you ANY kind of hint that I don't agree with you.

You've exposed yourself with your "sly" accusations and your "buzzwords."

Startling to me, but a FReeper WAS suspended for questioning his bonafides. He has the earmarks of what you concluded, Howlin, for sure. I've been here less time than you but plenty long enough to tell. So, I don't get it.

By the way, Miss M, thanks for your comments. I, too, was a Quayle supporter, then a Phil Gramm supporter. Both dropped in and dropped out. And I'm a Texan!

No automatic Bush booster, I, but these people do not care about anything but their agenda against the President.

Posts like this would indicate that a 2000-primary Forbes supporter like myself would agree with you?

You agree with that article's sentiment?

I voted for the President on the basis of the other guy being worse, not because I supported "compassionate conservatism".

"You've exposed yourself with your "sly" accusations and your "buzzwords.""

It's called the "English language".

Oh well back to the thread. I am really pissed that GW is once again the good soldier and raising bucks by the truck load for ingrates that are afraid to stand on the same stage with him. He, Laura and Cheney ALL ran telephone ads for Bilbray and then when he won he went on a radio show and slapped Bush in the face over immigration. Tancredo and Spectere have a lot in common. Both are snakes and RINOs.
