appreciate the reply.

Would be nice to keep their numbers up, including the Japanese (I am sure there is plenty of 'building' to do in the north!!). Our troops outnumber all others by such a large percentage, it would be nice to 'affect' that percentage a bit and have our troops gain some rotation from this new coverage in the south as well. AND it is so important for this to not be reduced to a US only venture.

I don't care what the MSM say, this is incredibly great news. The Iraqis are doing it- they are embracing freedom and slowing taking over their own country.

Because its one thing to do it another to prove it.

And we also had our hands full patrolling, and rebuilding.

A lesson is that you cannot force people to be free, if the majority Iraqis want Iranian dominance that is what they will get.
