Composed of up to 15,000 military, police and civilian staff, including medics, the proposed force would be recruited from professionals hired by the U.N. from many countries, and based at designated U.N. sites.

he proposed force would be recruited from professionals hired by the U.N. from many countries, Oh, goodie! The regular UN staff wasn't good enough at raping and pillaging, now they'll have mercenaries to do it.
It's time to shut this looney tunes operation down once and for all

They left out the number of crooks, swindlers, pimps, and potentates that would be the support staff.....

What the guys over at the UN are really thinking is that they want a special forces operations group under their command.

The UN already has an army. It is called the US Military. Every stinking time they screw something up, the US military is always called upon to clean it up. Then they are dammed for killing the stinking enemy they were sent in to clean up. F the UN. Get the F'iing UN out of the USA. Move it to france where it will feel right at home. With plenty of cheese and whine to go along with it.

Oh good grief! They can't find their way out of a paper bag as it is .. what on earth would they do with an "army".
And .. you know who would be asked to fund it, train it, and arm it, etc. the good old USA - and then everytime it was needed - they would do the same thing they have always done - call a conference and talk about what they were going to do.
This will be a total waste of our resources which are needed for our own military .. and for my money .. I'm guessing that's what this is all about .. to marginalize our military.
