June 15, 2006 -- WHO'D have thought it possible even a month ago? President Bush is getting his mojo back.
The president just had the best week of his second term, perhaps of his entire presidency - and the end of the investigation of Karl Rove, which would have been the headline grabber not long ago, had little to do with it.
Instead, the president's brilliantly conceived and executed trip to Baghdad - giving exactly the right boost at the right time to new Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki - capped off seven days that included the forming of a full Iraqi Cabinet and the success of the U.S. military in locating, bombing and killing Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the sadistic Jordanian-born insurgency leader that Osama bin Laden once called the "prince of Iraq."
Equally significant, the night Zarqawi died, American forces staged 17 raids on insurgent targets. By Monday, they had launched 140 more. On the day of the president's visit, 75,000 troops fanned out over Baghdad, ordered to clear the Iraqi capital of the violence and anarchy that has plagued it for months.

I tried to tell Teddy but he would not listen to someone who was still under 30 in 1912.
I really appreciate your kind words.
thanks

That would help some......:-)
And what's wrong with a few land-based ICBM's and B-2's (or even BUFFs) between friends?
Cheers!
I've got the "dead" Zarqawi photo as my desktop background. Just can't get enough of these photos. It is all so right. And fitting. And just.
Well, as a petite brunette, I'm the last one to be knocking Coulter for her long legs! I do think looks are in the eye of the beholder and ideology can go a long way toward influencing one's perception. I know liberal guys who think (or thought back in '92) that Hillary was good looking! I've seen liberals guys who claim Coulter isn't attractive because she looks like a man -- Adam's apple etc. Go figure! Now, in some cases, the politics matches the face perfectly -- Michael Moore and Al Franken come to mind.
BINGO!
You are so special, aren't cha?
Boy, I just read your bio on your FR personal page.
I have never seen such a contemptuous posting by anyone who claims to be a such a devout Christian as you do. Do you pray for George Bush, or aren't you going to until he starts following YOUR priorities and doing YOUR bidding?
"Why are they so afraid of Mexicans? Do they fear that some out of work Mexican looking for job picking tomatoes is going to set off a bomb that destroys a big factory or mall? NO Way! What they are afraid of is they will not be able to compete with uneducated poor Mexicans."
"I know liberal guys who think (or thought back in '92) that Hillary was good looking!"
No way! Now you're pulling my leg.
As for Ann, she isn't petite, she is anorexic.
Yeah -- there is (or was) even a funny Rush Limbaugh promo in which a liberal caller referred to her as the most beautiful First Lady ever! As for Ann, I agree she is on the skinny side, but that seems to be "in." It is interesting that you aren't taken in by her looks, but it seems that for many here her looks are only enhanced by her ideology. I wonder if liberal women think Michael Moore is a hunk? LOL!
"It is interesting that you aren't taken in by her looks,.."
Now you have found me out. I get a little put off by all of the guys acting like a flock of parrots, and demanding pictures on any post about Ann. I started out poking fun at her by saying she had to tie knots in her legs to make knees. Actually I find her mind much more attractive than her bony body.
