Large quantities of drugs were found inside merchandise from at least two Home Depot stores in Massachusetts, and authorities are investigating, police said Wednesday.
A contractor late last week discovered two 50-pound "bricks" of marijuana wrapped in plastic bags inside a bathroom vanity he had purchased at a Home Depot store in Tewksbury, said Chief of Detectives Lt. Dennis Peterson.
The estimated street value of the marijuana is around $145,000, Peterson said.
Similar incidents have occurred in other parts of the state.

Or, the intended recipient is already in jail and was not available to oversee the unloading.
Maybe this explains why my last general congractor disappeared for two weeks in the middle of remodeling my bathroom.
Im surprised he didnt take Depot Home and smoke it.
Someone found an employee's hiding place.
Oh that's bad......rotflmao....
Only two weeks? Mine has disappeared so many times I'm expecting to see his face on a milk carton....
Wait - so the vanity seemed to weigh 100 pounds more than it should?
LOL! Good eye for word play!
That is what all those Spanish signs actually accomplish.
Where was Smoke at the time?
That's better than finding a joint in a box of Cracker Jacks.
I used to dream of this stuff when I was a druggie.
vanity sales have sky rocketed at all home DePot's.....
I guess the local law enforcement departments will now give a new meaning to the phrase, "Bonfire of the Vanities".
I'm off to Home Depot!
Another drug induced vanity.
"Aww, MAN... They unloaded the truck early!"
Mebbe the nice folks from ICE have something to do with the receiving party's absence. Yeah, I know... wishful thinking.
Still, IF that were the case, just think how small a fraction that represents of what's coming in. The big picture is almost beyond comprehension.
Maybe they're figuring wholesale value, although that's certainly not how the cops usually do it. At any rate, the larger the unit, the lower the price when figued down to the ounce level. Once it gets broken down in to quarters, halves, and ounce, the price goes up. Buy in bulk, I always say.
