Professor Bob Carter of the Marine Geophysical Laboratory at James Cook University, in Australia gives what, for many Canadians, is a surprising assessment: "Gore's circumstantial arguments are so weak that they are pathetic. It is simply incredible that they, and his film, are commanding public attention."
Carter does not pull his punches about Gore's activism, "The man is an embarrassment to US science and its many fine practitioners, a lot of whom know (but feel unable to state publicly) that his propaganda crusade is mostly based on junk science."

It's wonderful to see articles like this one, too bad the only time US citizens will see it is on FR or similar sites. The MSM will never show it to the public as it does not fit their template of bad news about conservatives and this president in general. Of all the junk science out there (and there is alot) this is probably the most insidious. The only solution offered is the one which increases the slow march to socialism and the gutting of the free market/capitolist system of western democracies. Sadly enough, with the attention of the MSM and Hollywierd, the average person without the motivation to do even a little independent research is now firmly convinced that Gore's hypotheses are not only correct, they are fact, and that should scare us all!

Appearing before the Commons Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development last year, Carleton University paleoclimatologist Professor Tim Patterson testified, "There is no meaningful correlation between CO2 levels and Earth's temperature over this [geologic] time frame. In fact, when CO2 levels were over ten times higher than they are now, about 450 million years ago, the planet was in the depths of the absolute coldest period in the last half billion years." Patterson asked the committee, "On the basis of this evidence, how could anyone still believe that the recent relatively small increase in CO2 levels would be the major cause of the past century's modest warming?" Debunking the "greenhouse gas" malarkey is a slam dunk in light of this FACT.
But we all know global warming is not about science, it's about finding any possible excuse to implement the discredited socialist agenda.

Why, it makes one wonder who was burning all those fossil fuels way back then.
Perhaps Al "the bore" Gore will answer that one, should we find anyone to ask him.

The on going debate about Climate Change and Global Warming is fashionable rather than rational; a cause célèbre if you will. If one studies climate from the Miocene era through the all the cene history, it is patently absurd that man has had much of an effect on the weather or that man could control the weather. Such a conceit is utterly foolish.
Gore reminds me of Henny-penny and John McCain must be Cocky-locky with their entourage of Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, Turkey-lurkey, and I guess the United Nations is represented by Foxy-woxy
and Foxy-woxy gets the gold while the other nits lose all credibility in this real world
..all might as well attack and try to stop the Contenintal Drift
hey John, climate change is a natural phenomenon; are you sure you want to follow this crowd of idiots?

Among experts who actually examine the causes of change on a global scale, many concentrate their research on designing and enhancing computer models of hypothetical futures. "These models have been consistently wrong in all their scenarios," asserts Ball. "Since modelers concede computer outputs are not "predictions" but are in fact merely scenarios, they are negligent in letting policy-makers and the public think they are actually making forecasts." Not one of these models has ever been validated. Ever.

Key passage: "Climate experts" is the operative term here. Why? Because what Gore's "majority of scientists" think is immaterial when only a very small fraction of them actually work in the climate field.
