"Scientists have an independent obligation to respect and present the truth as they see it," Al Gore sensibly asserts in his film "An Inconvenient Truth", showing at Cumberland 4 Cinemas in Toronto since Jun 2. With that outlook in mind, what do world climate experts actually think about the science of his movie?

Debunking the "greenhouse gas" malarkey is a slam dunk in light of this FACT. Mere facts aren't going to change what the envirowhacos spew and what adoring libs everywhere believe. We must "save" mother earth - even if it means the total eradication of the human species.

Among experts who actually examine the causes of change on a global scale, many concentrate their research on designing and enhancing computer models of hypothetical futures. "These models have been consistently wrong in all their scenarios," asserts Ball. "Since modelers concede computer outputs are not "predictions" but are in fact merely scenarios, they are negligent in letting policy-makers and the public think they are actually making forecasts." Not one of these models has ever been validated. Ever.

Key passage: "Climate experts" is the operative term here. Why? Because what Gore's "majority of scientists" think is immaterial when only a very small fraction of them actually work in the climate field.

As a low-level believer in GW (I think its a good time to start doing something about it, mostly because getting away from petroleum would be GOOD for our country in very Conservative ways), this crap from Al Gore really makes me want to switch back to being a disbeliever. The hyperbole, lies, and distortions about this issue have done it a GREAT disservice.
But its "good for the cause" so its ok to lie. Reminds me of how its OK for Muslims to lie, if its for their cause...

"might as well attack and try to stop the Contenintal Drift" Maybe you are onto something there. Anthropogenic catastrophic drift. The increase in population is causing the drift to quicken resulting in more earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. Especially around the "ring of fire". Why just look at the population growth in the Asian Crescent!

Gore is a wacko. And he is stirring up his fellow wackos so people will donate money to the Wacko agenda, and thereby PAY AL to run around spouting more wacko nonsense.
He is a SNAKE OIL SALESMAN! Selling used Motor oil as Snake oil!
He is as dishonest as a person can possibly get!

John Stossel brought this out awhile back and was pooh poohed. No common sense argument will reach past the propaganda network that has been constructed to take your SUV. The funniest thing he said was "We can't rely on weather forecasts a week from now, so why do we rely on this junk science 10-100 years from now". The computer models have been proven wrong time and time again, no matter what parameters are put in at the beginning.
One of the most obvious questions I wish someone would ask is How long have the glaciers been melting, and what made them start melting 100k years ago if the Suburban was just a cave man's pipe dream. It must have been the R12 he was spewing into the atmosphere.
I agree with Rush. He said "How arrogant we are to think that we could affect changes in the planet." Planet change comes from things we have no control over. We cannot affect Earth tilt, sunspots, volcanic activity, magnetic pole movement, etc. Those are the things that change our climate, not using your SUV to tow your RV to the lake. If you drill far enough, you will get the real answers from the eco-wacko's. They want you dead. They want your children dead. If they can't abort you, then you must pay more tax to the greater good of the collective. You must have less garbage, breathe less, use less, and have the smallest "carbon footprint" possible. They were raised on books like "The Population Bomb", and "Silent Spring" And they dream of the day when half of the Earth's people are dead.

Great article. Meanwhile Gore is planning to use the movie's profits to recruit 1000 enviro-Taliban to run around giving his crappy PowerPoint presentation.

The enemy Democrat Party is agenda driven.
As a Marxist Socialist entity, they will do anything and everything to turn this republic into a decadent, aimless, wondering, subserviant society that they are able to rule over and dictate to, as they desire.
The evidence is overwhelming that the Democrat Party is an enemy of ...
The U.S. Constitution
The rule of law
Morality
Personal responsibility
Honest debate
They (Democrat Party) would rather we have a thousand 9/11's, while blaming others, than unite with the present administration and do the right thing for this country. They are the definition of vermin and should be treated as such.
We, as a nation, have been weakened almost to the point that the Europeans have.
The time has come to remove the Democrats completely, either at the ballot box, or by other means.
We can do it now, or evolve into a third world country and pray that men like our Founding Fathers will come again.
