The poster's handle is CheChe. The text captures everything you need to know about the Angry Left:
I don't think I've ever seen such a look of misery and dejection on the face of my daughter as I just did a moment ago. She just couldn't understand why the President would be going to Iraq when so many things are wrong in this country. "Doesnt Mr. Bush care about us anymore?" she asked pitifully.
I sat down with her on the sofa and (as calmly as I could) tried to explain to her why the President seems to be abandoning his country. "Honey, I think his boss, Mr. Rove, sent Mr. Bush out of the country in order to keep himself out of the newspapers. You see, he wasnt sure if he was going to be arrested today or not, and so he planned Mr. Bushs trip ahead of time just in case...
I tried to keep my voice steady, but it became increasingly difficult - the rage and feelings of helplessness were just too much. I think my daughter could tell something was wrong. I found myself at such a loss for words - nothing made any sense; nothing makes sense anymore. I finally had to admit, "Honey, I just don't know - I don't know what's going on in this country anymore..."
When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, "Daddy" she said, "why are the Republicans doing this to the country?" Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. She just fell into my arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes.
For once she had to comfort me and get me back on my feet. Sometimes I just think it's too much, but seeing the strength in my young daughter's voice helped me to get through.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde: It would take a heart of stone not to laugh at the grief of Little CheChe.
I admit, it was a very similar reaction.
Of course she knew something was wrong. His daughter awakened to the fact she is living with a very unbalanced man who needs constant adult supervision.
I had to take my daughter to the emergency room today. Her side was hurting so bad that we just knew she must have some serious internal injury. You wouldn't believe the tears in her eyes.
The doctor told us that she had a bad case of LADS caused by recent news stories and current events. Her sides were hurting from LADS (laughing at democrats syndrome).
He prescribed two asprins and told her to quit reading DU, DailyKOS and to stay completely away from MSM talking head shows.
The End.
Personally, I think Karl R. is the poster, accenting the dementia that is 'Liberal'
I read this at the office and nearly lost my job for laughing so hard. Whether this is real or a spoof, it was a total classic!
So gay. So metrosexual. His daughter's future is bleak indeed.
Where does it say the daughter is six years old? Che Che and his daughter have a history of falling onto the couch into each others arms. She's twenty-three.
Liberals write this sort of projective phantasy all the time.
LOL. I googled that guys other postings..he is just messing with people. Funny stuff.
wait... isn't he mocking them? ...I'm lost :)~
"Who believes the little girl said all of that. It's good for laughs anyway."
It was Gepharts friend's kid!
So the DailyKos has creative writing contests, eh?
I know that I'm just another heartless conservative, but I have to say, that's one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. Thanks for the laugh.
LOL. What a funny post!
Look up the one about "The GOP owes me a new carpet".
Hilarious!
I need to rap myself up in my Che Che Guevara Guevara blanky and have a good cry after reading that one.
Bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Age 53. Born April 18, 1952 to the late Willard and Gilda (Ebert) Zimbleman, died June 10, 2005. Throughout his life Cory was an extraordinary artist. His artistic talent and imagination would bring awe to all who viewed his work. His works grace an LP cover and numerous books; using Computer Aided Design (CAD) he designed home and business exteriors, interiors, and furniture for several architectural firms. His talent went beyond the fine arts as he added sculpturing, woodworking, metals, and other mediums to his repertoire. Having never gained the recognition he deserved in his own lifetime his family hopes to publish a book of his works. Another of his passions was herpetology. As a child he was always bringing home reptiles. His friends nicknamed him "Snake." He even built a turtle pond in his backyard. An avid atheist, he studied the bible and religion with more fervor than most Christians. He had strong political opinions and followed Amy Goodman's radio broadcast "Democracy Now." Alas the stolen election of 2000 and living with right-winged Americans finally brought him to his early demise. Stress from living in this unjust country brought about several heart attacks rendering him disabled. Cory, a great man, so very talented, compassionate and intelligent, dedicated to the arts and humanities and the environment, will be greatly missed by his wife, family, and friends. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Montiel; his step-daughter, Esperanza Hernandez both of Tucson; his brother, Mike (Dana) of St. Louis, MO; his sisters, Susan St. Claire of San Jose, CA and Laura Zimbleman of Ypsilanti, MI, and his turtles Heidie, Skinhead and Studley and many other pets. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., please call 883-2862 for information. Cremation has taken place.
