Is he talking about the time when Ronald Regan sent him up the Tigris River on a secret mission on Christmas Eve of 1980?

Kerry, who led an unsuccessful bid for the presidency in 2004, said it was necessary to admit mistakes because "you cannot change the future if you''re not honest about the past."

Which is why he will never be a part of the future.

Just hours after this garbage United for Peace and Justice sent out an email asking everyone to call congress to support bringong our troops home
Congress has spent years avoiding responsibility for Iraq. But this week, the Senate will vote on several different proposals to bring the troops home and end the war, calling for measures that range from immediate withdrawal to a gradual withdrawal stretched out over 18 months

A tad late, John.

If you were so wrong in voting for the War, doesn't that make you a weakly candidate for the Presidency? If you, all of the sudden, change your mind, you cannot change the courses of events.

Indecisiveness is one flaw the Commander in Chief should not have. If you were President, John, what kinds of potential problems would your indecisiveness and changing-your-mind in the course of events impact America?

"The true pessimists are those who do not understand that valuing our principles is critical to our national security and it is as critical to our national security as our military power itself."

We value OUR principles. I'm confused at to what yours ARE J F'n Kerry.

"He said opposing the war is "a right and an obligation" because it was "founded on a lie [and] can never be true to America''s character."

Well then, Since sKerry's entire political career was built on the LIES of his service in Vietnam, his 2 phony Purple Hearts, his phony Silver Star, his phony trip into Cambodia and his slanderous testimony before the Senate --- then Kerry himself can NEVER be "True" to America's character.

For an asshole whose entire life has been a lie --- one would think he would avoid the use of that word..

I pray the ghosts of all the honorable men who died in Vietnam, haunt his every sleeping hour...

A POX on his ass..

U.S. Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts on Tuesday told an audience ....that he was sorry for voting to authorize the war in Iraq, calling the entire mission "a mistake."

Could his timing be MORE wrong?

Which time?

If he was wrong and could be wrong again then which time is he right and which time is he wrong. Is he wrong then or now.

Ohhhh, noooooooo it's time to chase the tail around the tree.
