I often feel sorry and embarrassed for Hannity. The poor guy is as dumb as a bag of rocks and wouldn't know a rational analysis of a contemporary issue if it bit him on the ankle. Like the Demagogue-in-Chief, Limbaugh, Hannity's entire world consists of generalization and universal assumptions based on either nothing but his most fervent wish or some wild, bizarre anecdote. He worships slimeball politicians and wannabes who offer exploitive compliments like ''you're a great American'' ---and he buys that crap. He's joy to tune in just for the smiles, snickers and laughs at his density.

Name the individuals Rush has demagoged.

Also post the lies he has told about them.

Hannity hasn't been one of my favorites. I lean in your direction, but there's nothing to be gained from talking the guy down.

As for Limbaugh, his pompous attitude is part of the schtick, that is his show. You don't move to the top of the heap by showing reticense to take charge. He speaks with authority for a reason.

That being said, he's been banging it out since the mid 1980s that I am aware of and I'd be hard pressed to come up with half the food for thought that he puts out.

In most instances I think Limbaugh is right on target. Do I have beefs with him from time to time? Absolutely. I have beefs with my wife from time to time. I'm not tossing her out on her ear either.

Heh heh heh...

Your post #33...

Yes, Hannity is not the sharpest bowling ball on the rack.

But Rush Limbaugh pioneered the genre...in more ways than one can count. And in the process, revitalized the AM radio dial.

Not to mention Rush's brilliant satire, even on non-political subjects (e.g. the Pee-Wee Herman update song, "Beat It" by Michael Jackson)...; or the fake commercials (Weemsco Tuna).

Please, think it over again, at least about Rush.

Cheers!

How have you managed to hang in here so long? FR must keep you grinding your teeth so bad that I would guess you have removable replacements now.
