All I know about the "incident" is what was reported in the PBP. And, to me, the PBP is to accuracy what Ted Kennedy is to absetmiousness.

I am sure you understand the left fears strong women. They especially hate strong, effective, conservative women.
The left wants to keep women high-heeled, aborted, and in an office.
That is one reason they absolutely hate such women as Coulter, Schlafly, Thatcher etc etc

Seems like there are still a few here that get their panties in a self righteous wad whenever Ann is mentioned. I think the religious theme of this last book has sent a couple close to the edge.
Ann's gifts are intelligence backed up with guts and backbone, the latter two ingredients sadly missing in our conservative elites.

For editorialists, The Palm Beach Post has a commune of collectivists whose opinions range from the far left to the extreme far left.
I think they consider that editorial diversity

Her book sales and the hatred she engenders, not to mention her intellect and the quality of her arguements, are, to me, evidence she is not just another pundit.

Conservative timidity. Were she a republican and the dems had total control of the branches of gov't she'd be in Martha Stewart's old cell

You betcha. This "witch" Gorelick id directly responsible for 911 along with Bill and Hillary Clinton and the entire Democrat Party. The "Jersey Gals" border on being morons, and are traitorsx to the USA, but so what, all Democrats are!!! When they are getting abused and murdered by Muslim Terrorists aided and abetted by their wonderful Democrat Party vermin, maybe then, "They Will Get it?"!!!
To: bornacatholic
She's still on the United Technologies Board of Directors: (http://investors.utc.com/bios.cfm)
Jamie S. Gorelick
Partner,
WilmerHale
After Fannie Mae, she belongs more in jail than poor Martha Stewart. Or at the very least on trial for fraud, embezzlement, breach of fiduciary duty. Makes one wonder what UT is all about.

I don't know about Murtha but IMO Kerry was not a former war hero and he did not give meritorious service to his country. That demeans all heroes and all those that did give meritorious service.
My dad served two tours, that's full tours, of duty in Viet Nam and thank God he did not get one Purple Heart, just a bad skin condition due to the constant humidity.
I mean, come on, three Purple Hearts, the number required to get the heck out of there, and not one over night stay in a medical clinic??????????

The editorial reads like is was a lottery draw of random words written on small scraps of paper-Perhaps Chads.
Would not expect anything more from the Palm Beach MSM.

Oh, I agree. And, let's not forget ol' Franklin Raines is black and Gorelick is a woman so they get a stay-out-of-jail pass from tepid republicans fearful of the labels "racist" and "sexist."
Ann Coulter cited Peter Brimelow in her book. Her citation applies to the Raines case..
Peter Brimelow's definition of a "racist" (is) "someone who is winning an argument with a liberal."
As to why Gorelick is on that board, and why Raines avoided prosecution for Fannie Mae's illegal, execrable actions, one notes that dems practice liberal tribalism

[ Ms. Coulter is the book world equivalent of a shock jock. She started with hyberbole in her first screed eight years ago, so it isn't surprising that for her fifth and latest she had to seek dizzying levels of incoherence and meanness. ]
I'll bet the author of this article HATES Ann Coulter but LOVES Howard Stern.. Now thats a mental disorder..

Amen, brother. As far as I know, the PBP has never had an editorial denouncing Mr. Stern. It HAS had pieces published extolling the innumerable virtues of Cindy Sheehan however

Even here on FR, there are men who can't mention her name without nearly wetting their pants. Slightly inaccurate terminology.

"mephitic orthodoxies" Oooohh. Good one.
My two grown hardcore conservative kids read, and both of them have bought Coulter's book. Of course, they buy all her books.
My liberal daughter is traveling the world with her boyfriend and doesn't read anyway. But two out of three ain't bad.
