Ann Coulter criticized four of the women whose husbands died on 9/11, and now a congressmen from the New York/New Jersey area has written a scathing letter-signed by nearly two dozen other congressmen-to the author.
In Coulter's new book "Godless: The Curch of Liberalism," she wrote, "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much," and that the four were "reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by giref-arazzis."
In response, House Democrats from Long Island and New York City have signed their names to a letter drafted by Rep. Steve Israeil (D-Hungtington) demanding that Coulter apologize.

Ann must be having quite a laugh. There is nothing like controversy to sell a book.
Sorry for the OT. I can't post an article from Kos here, so you'll have to follow this link to the funniest damn story ever:
OK, SOMEbody has some 'splainin' to do.
I intended to be there at YKos. In fact, I actually made reservations and registered and everything. It was VERY late when I got off work last night. I got on a plane, landed, checked into my hotel last night -- woke up. I'm in friggin' Dubuque, Iowa.

They don't care about Ann's book sales. They see this as an opportunity to score points off the right.
That processing window is just too funny!
She has a beagle I think.
I think the fact that government representatives are demanding a private individual to apologize to other private individuals is interesting in itself.
Fellow Freepers, keep a close watch on the wolves in sheep's clothing over at Darwin Central. Their worldview is based in nothing which even resembles true conservatism.
Funny--but how does one get on a plane for Las Vegas, when the flight info. posted everywhere in the airport says Des Moines? You just can't make this stuff up. Stupid is as stupid does.
I don't remember these sanctimonious pricks apologizing for the bile the jersey cows spewed after 9/11, so my response would tend to be "shove it where the sun don't shine".
She's laughing all the way to the bank.
Grow up.
i think we should demand that THEY (the congressmen) should apologize.
How about Michael Berg apoligizing for what he said about our (and his) CinC.
Dims can't handle the truth. It screws up their "feeling center", their primary source of "crying and hysteria".
She's talking about you, little man.
Her reply might be as follows:
"I look forward to meeting with other leftists who have called for the murder of Pres. Bush, called Republicans Nazis, rejoiced in the killing of our troops, referred to the victims of 9/11 as little Eichmans, etc., to compare their letters from these Congressmen to mine."
What's just as funny is that this idiot went and announced this on a a national forum.
