Two US doctors have begun an autopsy on the body of top militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, killed in a US-led operation in Iraq this week.
Questions have arisen over how Zarqawi died since the Americans revealed he had still been alive following the bombing of a safe house by US planes.
It is unclear if Zarqawi's remains will be released to his family in Jordan.

We should let them have his remains and let them give Zarqawi a proper funeral.

I'm guessing that they will determine the cause of death as SEOS (Severe Extreme Overpressure Syndrome) which makes the bowels try to move in both directions simultaneously and sucks the lungs into the nasal passages.
He died painlessly..... NOT!!
None of the articles so far have mentioned whether he was missing a leg. Of course it would be hard to tell now. Anyone hear whether they found a stump?
