Anyway, other than the obvious self-puff pieces I've found on her website and a few things I've found on the web, I can't find too much on her. My father is an independent who has previously voted for Congressman Sweeney, but is on the fence this time! Anyone know anything about Gillibrand, other than that she handled investigations under Cuomo - and was considered by some to be helping to keep the HUD-Flipping scandal under the public radar for Clinton?

She talks a good game, but she's very easy to see through.
She's going to be doing a series of interviews throughout the campaign season with Andrew Wilkow on 810 WGY radio. She's done one already and has promised to come back and do more. If you listen to Andrew streaming on WGY.com , you'll get a great idea of the local politics up here from a conservative's point of view. He's on every day from 9am to 11:45.
Great, guys! But this doesn't tell me tooooo much about Kirsten Gillibrand. I'll keep looking for info, and now that we know what she looks like, I'll try to put an ideology to the face!
One thing I did forget to mention in my vanity (sorry!) is that during Kirsten Gillibrand's tenure as Special Counsel to HUD Secretary Cuomo, a Senate committee accused HUD of helping the 2000 Hildebeast Campaign and with playing politics with homeless programs in NYC (my old stomping grounds) to cause problems for Rudy G! Hot or not, I don't think Gillibrand would be a good Rep!

Recently I saw or heard some comments from her.
It was either in the local paper or on TV and while I can`t for the life of me remember any of them,it was hard left wing propaganda with the normal bitter edge.

Well, she's warmly endorsed by Emily's List, which means that she's a completely reliable baby killer.

Yes, that's definitely a negative, for both me and most importantly my father, since Gillibrand's running in his district!
Scary stuff, huh? A 'cute' lib democrat who is pro-abort, was a Clinton appointee, and presided over, if not covered up, scandals during her stay at HUD.

Told you I'd post some things if I found them..
Senator Susan Collins, who was head of the Senate Governmental Affairs Subcommittee investigating HUD said that HUD was contributing to the flipping scandal because of "lax oversight." To quote Collins: "It appears that HUD has known for several years its management and oversight of lenders and appraisers has contributed to the increased risk" (of improper mortgage practices.)
