This is NOT intended to be the live Sunday Morning Talk Show thread. I trust AB will do that as usual. This is strictly a preview of who will be on the main shows. The idea is to give folks a chance to muster their resources for that thread. I would particularly ask that anyone with specific knowledge or resources about the topics / guests announced for these shows post them here so that the rest of us can go into the shows with a heads up on what to look for. For example,

PingThe Weekend Preview Thread is up
If you would like on or off my ping list please Freepmail me
The most interesting guest to me will be General Casey. I think he'll be business like and very straight forward, but I want to see how he is treated by "the enemy" during his blitz kreig. I'm also curious to see if the Danish Premiere has a clue why he's on this week and if he surprises Wolf by a very un PC answer to one of two of his questions (wouldn't that be fun?). And the lionization of Kos has begun. Oh, let me bow down before this great power on the net!!!!
The dominant meme appears to be that success in Iraq, any success, especially the elimination of (dare I say it?) the head of Al Qaeda in Iraq, is a non issue. Didn't you get the memo?
PS - I will be traveling much of the day, Saturday, 6/10 and will probably have only limited access this entire week. I will not return till late in the day on Friday, 6/16 and will probably not get this thread posted till mid-day on Saturday next week. I hope to get some time to participate on the Sunday thread this week. I'm going to be in Boston (on an expense account) and I got cheated on my trip to SF by not getting to enjoy any of the really good restaurants, so I hope you'll all forgive me if I spend more time enjoying myself this weekend than hanging out here. You wanna know what's really sad? I'll probably be here most of the time this weekend. Ah well... <g>

Thanks for the thread...
Please take the weekend off...and enjoy your company's money and eat, drink and be merry, in Boston this weekend.
You did your usual stellar job...
I probably won't be able to participate much this weekend either...(babysitting 30 year old daughter)...
You might be interested in this..
My daughter's husband left this morning for Bangkok...the plane got 1 1/2 hours past Anchorage, Alaska, on the way to Tokyo, where they were supposed to catch another plane to Bangkok...
When they got that 1 and 1/2 hours out of Alaska, the pilot came on and said they had an oil leak, so they flew back 1 and 1/2 hours to Anchorage...where they will have to spend the night...and then they will have to spend the night in Tokyo the next night...
What he thought was going to be 21 hours of flying has turned into almost a 3 day ordeal.
I am so glad it is he, and not me!!!

I had not realized that MTP will be on at a different time. I may actually watch it. It will be on an hour early, and not opposite FNS.

Thanks for your usual stellar job! I agree w you - -I think Gen Casey will be the most interesting and don't think he'll put up w any cr*pola from Timmy or Bobby. I think Chris will be fair w him (or, I hope he will anyway).
I wonder how many of the show hosts and/or guests will echo the mantra of some of the dems re Zarqawi: it was a stunt to improve Bush's poll #s, it never happened, the timing is questionable, it happened a long time ago and they're just now showing it to help Bush, and/or, as you mentioned, it's no big deal (even though many had been harping that we couldn't even get this 1 Big fish).
I can't believe Timmy is having the Daily Kos on - - just goes to show you what a joke his show and the Dims have become (since many of the 'leaders' are attending this convention). Maybe we should have a FR convention. Wonder if Timmy would have Jim R on if we did. Nah.
Have a SUPER time in Boston!

I find it interesting that while the media is skewering Ann Coulter for being "mean spirited", they are lionizing the Daily Kos guy, who wrote those vile words about the men who were killed, mutilated, and strung up on the bridge in Fallujah.
I can find no better example of the MSM's double standard, and to find them displaying it so publicly is curious. Either they are emboldened into thinking that no one has a memory, or they are desperate to promote the leftist message. I can't figure out which...or maybe it's both.

Can you turn that into a question to post to Timmy via the MTP web site? That would be marvelous!
Off to the airport. I'll try to check in later.

She was sinking deeper and deeper the more she tried to spin. I think that's a winner for us, at least at this point. They haven't found a way to formulate that argument that doesn't make them look like idiots and traitors. It's like getting Murtha talking. If it's talking heads talking about Murtha he's this great leader and heroic figure, but if you actually see and hear him he's a fool and a truly nasty person.

"Elen Ratner was just dancing to that tune on Fox and Friends Weekend."
Guess she must have received the fax. It's interesting to me that they think we're so stupid that we'll take what they say to heart and believe it. I just caught bits and pieces of shows yesterday and came up w a list of their talking points (I'm sure many other FReepers caught them as well). It's become almost a game w me - -listen to a few shows, hear what's regurgitated here and there and it's easy to know what was on the DNC fax du jour (or subject).
" If it's talking heads talking about Murtha he's this great leader and heroic figure, but if you actually see and hear him he's a fool and a truly nasty person."
He's either a fool and nasty or has dementia and/or a chemical imbalance. Heard that he's now saying he's going to run for majority leader when the Dims take over congress in the fall. Looks like that's what all his bloviating and blustering has been about - -get lots of face time and your name in the news, side w the left-wing wackos on the war, and try to get elected as majority leader. Wonder if Pelosi knew his plan when she encouraged the 'decorated veternan' to speak out on the war. Too bad for him and good for us that the Dims will lose once again in the fall and he'll have to settle for ranking member of a committee - - that's, of course, if his constituents decide to let him keep his seat. Hopefully, they'll say enough is enough and replace him w Diane Irey.

Well, folks, be it good or bad, we just got a mention at the kooks convention by Ns, Alexandra Savino, who points out that we get threads with 400 to 500 comments, although she added that lots of it is crappy and not well thought out. That is, unfortunately, true, but, as she also points out, FR is not a blog, but a massive online community. Everybody has their crazy uncles :)

I can already see the spin coming to counteract our great victory last week killing the Zark. Three nut cases terrorists committed suicide in gitmo(must have been the rain it will drive you nuts sometimes down here). The left will surely use that to counter our great victory. That's their MO.

While i hardly eve disagree with our often # 1 poster SC, this time I will. Murtha is engaging in COA big time. He has ethics violations investigations hanging over his head. Who knows how much more for his fast dealing with his brother and many others.
