"....who rents his Westchester home from billionaire buddy George Soros at a price only slightly lower than his U.N. salary"

Is it bad that I'm not surprised by revealations like these anymore?

Yup. And it is a battle that must be fought, continuously.

Otherwise...

Lol. And we even have to question the "Free Press" from time to time, i.e., the MSM. Because they can become corrupt as well.

Call me naive but I believe it forces everyone to be honest.

Probably has something to do with balance of power.

A news source earlier in the week described his political affiliation as "Progressive Socialist Party."

Can't anyone spit it out and call these guys COMMUNISTS?

Interestingly, the pro-UN propaganda Brown wants the US government to engage in is similar to the efforts of the European elites to stifle and deligitimize any EU sceptic voices in Europe.

Th secret roll of the UN that has been kept from middle America is now beginning to be revealed, thanks to people like Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and the Pajamadene and it isn't pretty. This "clown" has been listening to the libs in DC or similar places and has no idea who/what America is about or how it works.

What the masses want is what happens in the US.

I hope you don't mind if I point out that "the masses" is an unfortunate term steeped in Marxist elitism (no, I am NOT calling you a Marxist).

I think it is a term more appropriately used by social engineers who see "the masses" as a great, ignorant unwashed who must be ruled and manipulated in order to achieve the enlightened objectives of socialist masters.

In my experience, this term is frequently thrown around with smug abandon by Progressives (who of course never consider themselves part of "the masses"), and I never fail to point out its inherently misanthropic connotations whenever some leftist has the misfortune to use it in my presence.

So as a FRIENDLY suggestion to you and the few conservatives who occasionally use the term, perhaps in the future it might be better to avoid its use entirely and substitute "people," "the people," or even "We the People" for what really is a very demeaning and condescending elitist term.

We Americans have many friends in Great Britain (Their Prime Minister among them). I would no more judge the British by reference to this particular jackass than I would care for them judging us by sole reference to Michael Moore.

We are seeing the last days of the United Nations. The situation in Darfur reminds me of how Fascist Italy invaded Ethiopia, and the League of Nations did nothing. The situation in Iran reminds me of how Hitler rearmed and the League of Nations did nothing. When the League of Nations was proven ineffective, old balance of power of politics reasserted themselves - not quickly enough the last time.

I am ashamed of this fellow who obviously puts loyalty to the United Nations above that of Great Britain. He ought to remember the land from whence he came, not become intoxicated by the idle flattery of leftist intellectuals.

Regards, Ivan

"Middle America" -- whose media engages in "too much unchecked U.N.-bashing and stereotyping."

Just what I'd expect from a U.N. official. "unchecked" is the key word. In other words the U.S. press should be controlled and only favorable articles allowed. Radio and TV commentators should be monitored or checked.

Since the U.N. is a world body in which the U.S. is in a minority on most issues, the U.S. is wrong and therefore not the U.N. most of the time. Wake up America, the third world majority knows best. If only the U.S. were not involved just think of what the world body could accomplish.

Folks, the U.N. is the only hope in the world. The U.S. must stop being critical and join the rest of the benevolent nations in solving the world problems instead of watching so closely. U.S. demands for reform is unreasonalbe. Oil for food worked just fine before the U.S. got testy and demanded an investigation. Just give us your money and shut up and stop demanding honesty and accountability.

If Middle America knew more about the UN...there would be no UN.

Well said

That ridiculous sculpture of the knotted-up revolver is made of bronze....

Which will one day make oodles of nice, high-end bonded bronze bullets for us "mind-numbed" Americans to use in our "high-powered sniper" rifles.

That silly sculpture they have out front could be re-cast into something really useful, like guitar strings or something.

Agreed. Personally, If I were president I'd have it re-cast into an archway to go over the entrance to my private hunting reserve. Crossed shotguns, with crossed lever guns under them. Whatever is left over, I dunno, a toilet perhaps?

Brown is a complete throwback to the deluded, Lost Generation types who refused to face the harsh reality of the inevitable demise of the League of Nations and the coming Great War. And to think that this clown would, instead of looking at the actual things which will wipe out LoN-II (aka the UN) he tries to fob the whole thing off on so called "American rednecks who listen to EIB" .... sad, pathetic and stupid.

Speaking of which, I bought a new CNC lathe at my business, guess what the first 500 pieces of bronze were that I turned? (each within .00005 dia and .0001 in length I might add...)

Yes indeed, sir, Lost Generation redux at work.

You are spot on.
