Are you surprised that terrorists appear to have set their sights on such unlikely targets as the Parliament building in Ottawa and the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. in Toronto? Astonished that anyone would even consider sawing off the head of a Canadian Prime Minister? Are you thinking: What could anyone have against free, democratic, liberal, multicultural, diverse and tolerant Canada?
The question answers itself. Freedom, democracy, liberalism, multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance – these are precisely the attributes that Militant Islamists find most offensive.
This reality is difficult for some people to fathom. It shouldn't be. The Nazis disdained liberal societies as decadent. The Communists rejected democratic values as bourgeois. Now Militant Islamists regard Western nations as blasphemous. This is old totalitarian wine in new bottles.

No, they are not. In fact, the Islamists want these attributes to exist in Western countries so that they can spread their ideology.
Of course, when they are in power, then, yes. Those are attributes that they hate the most--after Christianity, that is.
More accurately, Islamists do despise multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance, but they use it to their advantage while spreading Jihad in the Western world.

You have nailed it. Muslims only respect strength and since 700 A.D the only time the Muslims have been relatively quiet is when the West or India has been strong and not afraid to use their strength. No dialogue, treaties, appeasement or concessions ever work with Muslims, their allegiance is only to their demented evil so called religion and nothing else. Unfortunately most people in the West don't understand this and equate Islam as being peaceful just like any other religion and that is the furthest thing from the truth.
Canada has the same blind side as other Western democracies (including the USA).

I have never seen so many women with only eyes showing as in the photographs after the arrests? Are there many Muslim women who go this far in Canada?

Where did you hear THAT? I'm always curious as to how false rumor get
started and spread...
Perhaps they should start refusing these women a licence on the grounds they cannot see well enough to drive safely. It might be one way of outlawing this ridiculous dress without breaching anti-discrimination laws.
