"al-Qaida in Iraq Vows to Continue Holy War"
Like all the dumbass Japanese soldiers that "continued to fight the Holy War" in the forests of The Philippines until they were captured just a few years ago?
Their favorite tactic all those years?
Why these brave "warriors" fought the good fight by, wait for it, sneaking onto farms in the middle of the night, and stealing chickens.

"The death of our leaders is life for us. Funny thing though, I don't see these guys elbowing each other out of the way in order to become the next leader.
Word is they got 7 other leaders with the same attack. Now that's some good intel there.
Hopefully we've cut the head off the snake.

I hear they regularly log on the RATS web site to pick up the latest Al Quaeda talking points.
They were obviously listening in to the RATS yesterday when they got clobbered in the Cali congressional elections. :)

I think if this is their attitude, all of them should present themselves unarmed at their nearest US Firebase, bend over in front of a firing squad and kiss their pig loving arses goodbye.

Yes, the snake head has been cut off (at least in Iraq) for awhile. There have been some weak little articles that have come out suggesting that AQ will carry on, blah, blah, blah.
Personally, I think Zarqawi out of the picture is very good news.

The liberals will babble incoherently without anyone to feed them new "death to America" lines.

I wonder if the swiftness of the announcement of 'Abu Abdel-Rahman al-Iraqi' being in command means their highest commander is the webmaster.

"AKA our new 'Target Alpha.'"
Yep.
Remember all them Hamas leaders the Israelis used to take out?
They'd appoint a new one, and he'd be blown to kingdom come in weeks.
After a while, they decided they were not so eager to see 72 virgins anymore, and suddenly stopped announcing who the new target...ummm...leader was. :)
