But to the general public, will they see it CAN be done -- that they can have their country back?

I can envision an empty pair of shoes with smoke rising out of them. LOL!

Why does everyone on CNN International appear so dour right now?

I'm sitting here thinking about the "big picture" and how this effects it.
Now that AMZ is dead and much of his senior leadership with him we can assume that their ability to recruit and raise money will be diminished.
More importantly, I think, is that there will now be a large power vacuum at the top. It is possible that there could be some serious infighting for control of the organization. Furthermore, some of the terrorists will likely reassess their career choices and go home.

Just imagine . . .
You're George W. Bush, you wake up this morning and come down for breakfast, and you hear "Good morning Mr. President, guess what?"
To: canadianally
Because they are probably upset tonight, much to my great joy.

Hopefully it will be demoralizing for the terrorists while also heartening for the Iraqi people.

In unrelated news, Cindy Sheehan was spotted gasping and crying in front of a hotel-lobby television set.

You're George W. Bush, you wake up this morning and come down for breakfast, and you hear "Good morning Mr. President, guess what?"You can safely bet your house that HE got the first call -- before ABC or anybody else.
What computer is this that MSNBC is talking about -- did they get a laptop, too? If that is true, we should all be out dancing in the streets.

Already been confirmed by facial recognition, finger prints and known scars. Plus, he did not die in the blast and the Iraqi forces captured him before he could blow himself up. He died later from his wounds. ;*)

Another great news, Fox is saying that Reuters is reporting that the Iraqi Parliament has just confirmed the Iraqi Defense and Interior minister. Liberals and their media are on suicide watch. God bless our troops.
PS: StJacques, you should be honored to be the first one to report this greatest news on FR my fellow freeper :)
