What a moron.
Ann Coulter, that is.
After calling a group of 9/11 widows "harpies" who seem to be "enjoying their husbands' deaths" in her new book, the conservative pundit has gone too far. She even added:
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy..."
Huh?
Ugly is the only way I can describe what Coulter has written. Now I understand why Time magazine put her on the cover a few years ago and made her look like a praying mantis. She just might be the type of creature that would eat its mate after sex.

In every spectrum, there has to be a "too far". I'm comfortable with Ann as my too far. She ain't wrong, she just makes their nerves jangle.

Utterly absurd nonsense as usual. They prostituted their "Widowhood" to act as strident Democrat Partisans. Very well, using their widowhood as justification for why their commentary on matters political was credible, they cannot then hide behind their widowhood to avoid being held to account for their actions. They gleefully used their dead husbands as political propaganda props. They have NO moral standing to now posture as victims. They picked this fight counting on their victim status to protect them from any response, too bad for them Ann has called their bluff

Coulter should have known her remarks would cause controversy. But she may have underestimated how sensitive even her own audience might be to such an ignorant rant. Not this member of her "audience", I just ordered her book from Amazon.

Go Ann! She tells it like it is. Too bad some can't handle the truth these days.

I have a question :
Have at least one of the widows or widowers turned down the Money from the attack ?

Francois Rabelais once mentioned that in his times [16th century ] there was a book entitled "About the things which ought to be passed over in silence". If such a book does exist, Coulter would do well by reading it.

Calling her a "moron" is off-base. She's a marketing genius, not a moron.
To: ltrman61
Agreed with above posters. Maybe it's not politically correct to say SOME 9-11 wives are profiteering and pulling a Cindy Sheehan, but some of them are. Ann's not saying ALL of them, just one group of them that are using thier husbands death as a springboard to personal "glory".
I love Ann as a writer. Gee, I wonder what she looks like... does anyone have a pic of her? *prepares to dodge all the "Hawt-Ann" posts*

She just might be the type of creature that would eat its mate after sex.Bizarre that he'd castigate her for saying something vicious and then turn around and make a remark like this. Talk about sinking to the same level.
