GORE NAME DROPPED FROM 'WARMING' MOVIE POSTER, CREDITS Wed Jun 07 2006 10:28:38 ET

Former Vice President Al Gore's name is nowhere to be found on PARAMOUNT's poster campaign for the new 'global warming' movie 'AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH.'

Gore's name is not featured on the dramatic poster promoting the movie -- a poster which welcomes moviegoers at the nation's theaters!

"It's not a political movie," a top source at PARAMOUNT explained, offering no other explanation on why Gore's name does not appear, even in the film's credits on the poster.

A rival studio executive claims marketing research showed little audience interest in a movie starring Al Gore.

The film has made $2,070,413 so far at the boxoffice in limited release.

Developing...

He wants to back away from the eco-kook image. Maybe because of this: http://www.crm114.com/algore/quiz.html

If only Al could find the real source of Global Warming. He could walk around it in an intimidating manner and sigh until it capitulates.

They're worried that people just don't take him cereal.

Plus, he has a reputation as a bit of a bore, and they probably don't want people to know that this is actually just a movie of Al Gore giving a slideshow.

Probably more like they want to avoid any problems with election financing laws.

As tired as we get of all the lying b.s. propaganda that pours out of the left, there are moments when someone says something so blindingly stupid and dishonest that we just have to stop and say 'WOW'..... as in "WOW, they actually believe that anyone can swallow that one!"

It is amusing. To think that he has a realistic chance. Oh, the humor.

It was one thing following his stint at VP, but since then there's far too much footage of him going off the deep end for him to mount even a reasonable campaign as a 3PC. Unless the GOP floated a complete buffoon, Gore would get killed other than in a handful of liberal states that are now perpetually Dim in national elections. CA, MA possibly.
