Spencer Supports Constitutional Amendment
Against Gay Marriage

Where Do You Stand, K. T?

YONKERS -- The U.S. Senate is deliberating on a Constitutional Amendment against Gay marriage. John Spencer the Republican and Conservative Party endorsed candidate for Senate facing Senator Clinton made the following statement.

“I support Constitutional protection of marriage as between a man and a woman. It's sad we need to define such elementary facts in our Constitution. But we saw how left wing Activist judges in Massachusetts wrote gay marriage into the fabric of society in that state with one court decision. In a month, after only two and a half hours of argument, six unelected judges on the state's highest court will decide the issue for New York without even consulting the people

“Fundamental questions like the definition of marriage should be made by the people through democratic means, not Judicial edict.

“Senator Clinton already favors gay marriage by opposing the Constitutional protection we need to prevent judges from dictating it.

“When she was running for Congress on the Upper East Side, before she started calling herself a ‘Reagan Republican,’ K.T. McFarland said she was a ‘liberal Republican’ supporting 'full civil rights for gays.’ K.T. McFarland should stop talking in code and declare openly if she is for or against a Constitutional Amendment against gay marriage.

“Where do you stand, K.T.?”

Below is an article from the March 7, 2006 edition of the New York Post which details Ms. McFarland’s support of “full civil rights for gays.”

GOPER'S LIBERAL DOSE - HILLARY'S FOE 'LEFT' IN LURCH BY REVEALING NOTE

The New York Post
FREDRIC U. DICKER, State Editor

ALBANY - The newly announced Republican challenger to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton wrote a confidential memo last summer describing herself as a pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro-stem-cell research, "social liberal" who is not a member of an "evangelical" church.

The politically explosive campaign-strategy memo, a copy of which was obtained by The Post, was written by Kathleen Troia McFarland, a wealthy Park Avenue resident and former Reagan-era Pentagon aide.

"I believe in a woman's right to choose, stem-cell research and full civil rights for gays. Our family worships in the Episcopal Church, but we are not evangelical," wrote McFarland, who announced yesterday that she would challenge former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer, an anti-abortion social conservative, in the GOP primary for the right to take on Clinton.

Since this is from the NY Post we can only post an excerpt of any article from the New York Post, you can probably read the rest of it here on Spencer's Website.

It's unfortunate that supporters of this amendment find it necessary to lie to get it passed. To suggest that if one is against the amendment, he must be for gay marriage is an insult to anyone with intelligence.

Thats because they made everything political. You have to think EXACTLY like them or else you are labeled.

Well, the timing of the amendment is nothing but politics. I just think the labels should be dropped for an honest discussion of the bill. I would hope that the labels don't win or lose the argument. Amendments are very serious issues, and I fear the Republicans are resorting to labels a bit early in the debate. That's a bad sign.

Just saying stuff like this should tell us this woman has no clue as to what Republicans stand for. I wouldn't be surprised if she's been voting rat her whole life.
She probably sent robinson ( the sodomite adulterer ) a fruit basket when he was elected.
