..and Ann didn't back down one bit, not one!

Of course she didn't. That's why she has no syndicated column any longer and is rarely invited to make appearances unless she's shilling a book (except by her buddy Sean Hannity).

She needs to make all the money she can on this book. After her inane attitude toward evolution, even more conservatives are going to walk away from her.

She still has her column in "Human Events".

Look sink...I posted what I saw and reacted to.

Nothing more, nothing less...

..Many of us here are just as tired of the Jersey 'widows' as Ann seems to be....

..we are voiceless.....she isn't.

Now whether that sells books or not, so be it....

...but it's refreshing to hear 'our side' for a change.

I agree that Ann is sometimes over the top, but when you have an enemy like the Democratic Party and MSM whose rhetoric appeals to those who never bother to get an opposing view, her comments begin a discussion that offers another side. (I love run-on sentences)
I've used her "nasty comments" to make headway with people who never considered "the rest of the story" in what they were hearing from the press.
There are all sorts of weapons you can use in a war. Ann Coulter may seem unconventional, but she exposes the enemy's weak spots and does damage to their base.

We should declare a truce on this evolution baloney.

Those who want to believe that they are descended (and I do mean descended) from apes may well be right. They provide a lot of evidence to prove that apes ain't what they used to be (although as Annie points out, any actual missing link remains quite elusive despite the best efforts of 150 years of atheists (descended from Darwin at least ideologically).

Non-liberals are descended from Adam and Eve who were created by God. It was in all the Bibles.

Also, some of those who believe that they are descended from apes believe that, in spite of the Venona Papers, the late Senator Joseph (fighting Joe) McCarthy was somehow factually wrong. They believe neither in Joe McCarthy nor in the very files of the KGB (the Venona Papers) which confirm his truth but they believe that apes were their ancestors. May well be on the last point at least as to themselves!
