PS-Yes, he did help eliminate a shortfall, he eliminated some of my son's physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Hell, my son didn't need to know how to walk, talk, or eat properly.

Eliminating a $1 billion shortfall? My guess is that the growing economy did that, and that was certainly not Baldacci's doing.
The Critical Insights poll showed that Baldacci's approval rating remained relatively unchanged from six months ago at 47 percent after having been as high as 72 percent in 2003. Thirty-nine percent of those polled did not approve of the job he's doing.
If he's done such a good job, why the lukewarm approval?

Based on our holiday to a bed-and-breakfast in Kennebunkport in October 2004, I'd agree that Maine is dommed. The "doms" though seemed to be mostly lesbians -- not that there's anything wrong with that!

I left shortly after Momma's Boy was sworn in (unlike Alec Baldwin, I keep my promises)...I would absolutely love to return for a number of reasons, but I just can't allow my paycheck to be ravaged by Baldacci and his crew. Sad, because most of my family and friends are still there.
If the voters of Maine do not fire this Marxist Idiot this fall, I will seriously look at moving out of Maine. I've developed a tolerance for incompetence over the last 40 or so years, but I'm not going to continue to allow MY tax money to promote America-Hating Socialism!
