The worst scum in S. Korea

No.1 voted for Roh Moo-hyun and emigrated (to some other country to escape the mess Roh created)

No.2 voted for Roh, and still votes for Uri Party (Uri Party is a ruling party Roh heads)

No.3 voted for Roh, and still hope he may come around (to his senses)

KEYWORDS: rohmoohyun; satire; vote
This is the translation of a reply on a political article on Roh at naver.com.

Roh made clear in his remarks he cannot accept popular sentiment against him exhibited by the landslide victory of opposition party in the recent local election.

He said he will only accept history's judgement. The guy now sounds like Hitler.

Socialists are ultimately all the same... if they believed in God they would claim divine right.

What happened in Korea last week is similar to what happened in 1994 in the U.S.: People were so disgusted with where the President and his cronies were taking the country that they voted overwhelmingly for the other party in off-year elections.

Hopefully, the GNP (Grand National Party of Korea) will listen to the people who elected them this time around.

Re #4

Yeah, I remember how MSM reacted on the election day in '94. When Bernie Shaw and Judy Woodruff found out that Pataki is crushing Cuomo, their expression was priceless. Especially, Bernie with his deer-in-the-headlight look.

There will be twists and turns from now to the presidential election in 2007. The left will not go silently. They would rather face total meltdown than orderly retreat. Some of them will ally with Kim Jong-il and coordinate their actions no doubt.

They believe they ARE God. And do claim it!

There are by far more socialists claiming various degrees of divine power and/or rights on the streets of any given city and/or in its halls of power than there are
the other mentally ill usually referred to as "the homeless"and/or than, in asylums, there are nutcases claiming to be Napoleon Bonaparte.

I was watching. They looked like they were about to die. One very dour older lady on CNN stated (paraphrasing), "Clearly there is no mandate here."

Neither. I'll search and see if I can locate her.

I can't determine her name or locate a photo. Odds are that she's not working there now - she seemed old at the time. She was about as attractive as Helen Thomas.

I've been in Korea for the last two weeks. There is a lot of anger towards the IMF for ruining their economy. I can't say I understand the issues here but it is interesting. The UN seems to have been busy here as well "designating" areas as world cultural sites. I guess the UN stuff goes along with having a socialist in power. Economy here sucks though, lots of people struggling.

The MSM just don't get it, do they?

I think more South Koreans are beginning to see the demerits of socialism. You're right though: the leftists will not go quietly.

I see you're interested in Asian issues as well. Please put me on your ping list.

Yes, they have.
The Koreans are happy to be getting the worldwide "recognition." They don't seem to realize that they are ceding power over their national treasures to a bunch of unelected bureaucrats who couldn't care less about them.

"They don't seem to realize that they are ceding power over their national treasures to a bunch of unelected bureaucrats who couldn't care less about them."

I think that comes from the socialist leader they've had. Once the UN tries to do something the Korean people don't want to do I expect the UN will be shown the door. I hope anyway.

I've visited several of these sites over the last couple of weeks. A bunch of 1500 year old temples and other similiar relics is quit amazing.
