Rats, I missed her. Thanks anyway.
Really? Thank God! The man was totally biased. I believe he used to work at the Little Rock, Arkansas, main rag, er, newspaper, and came to Washington and the national scene with his heroes, the Clintons, in 1993. The guy was one of their chief cheerleaders, and an Bush Basher extraodinaire since 2001....
Can't wait for the rest of AP to give up!
F&F had some guy on about giving felons their right to vote back. He said they would become better citizens if they got the right to vote again.
I am going to try to watch him on Wolf's show, although it will be a trial to listen to all the doom and gloom.
You bet. Great comments too. Hope you don't mind if I copy them to use. No WMD, my Juan Williams.....
This show's name should be changed to:
MEET JOE BIDEN (NBC): Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del. will interview himself for an hour.
HA!
Joe and Timmy have decided that President Bush has made a mess of absolutely everything. Joe says his plan is aimed at keeping the 3 factions in Iraq together. Bwhahahah, wasn't the plan to split them apart!
Watching Condi on FOX now.
It is a crying shame that most "people of color" voters are not even watching and if they were they are thinking of Condi as a Bush "shill" or worse an "Aunt Tommie".
It is such a pity that they cannot look on this wonderful ambassador of goodwill and think, "This is what I can grow up to be, or this is what my kids could grow up to be."
Many will follow the mantra of their "black leaders" and live their lives blaming the Republicans for all their ills and troubles.
Not 10%, probably not even 5% know without majority Republican support, the Civil Rights gains of the 60's would not have been possible. LBJ was right. The black voting public think just because he was President when the Civil Rights Act was passed, it just had to be Democrats casting all the votes.
Well whoopidieee do... seems Wallace jumped in with the NYT in misquoting Maliki on the Haditha BS.
Cute.
Yes, AB. AP & Fournier's lawyers are discussing terms, one of which is - he is "resigned" or "relieved". Isn't that funny?
Great! Thanks, in advance, for whatever you relate. I keep using FR and Media Research Center to learn what these people say since I can't watch as much of them as I'd like. Denver saw fit to have all the shows opposite each other so it's pick one and tape one or catch others later. That's not always easy to do.
Whoops having re-read that think I better repeat it as the original does not make a lot of sense - honest I did preview it.
"I agree Peach and it amazes me why both the US and Britain are not pushing more to address this.
The only thing I can think is that maybe because of the perceived unpopularity of the Iraq war in 2006 they feel should that they should not put a lot of time or effort into this. I suspect this is in case nothing concret came of it and the media would of course jump all over them saying they are still trying to justify yet again the reasons for the conflict in the first place.
Well good.. at least Condi corrected him "this was part of a much larger set of comments in answer to a question"
Also, Rice says she KNOWS what he thinks. Reading between the lines I am thinking there was some distortion of his words in the press.
Oh, no...Lindsey Graham and Jack Reid up next to discuss Haditha. Graham will no doubt pull out his JAG experience and wring his hands again, just like he did with Abu Ghraib.
OMG, Timmy asks how high up the chain of command this "Haditha" thing goes. (Note: we don't know yet if there is a "thing" or not.) Biden says it goes to the SecDef and he ought to resign, but only because the President can't.
