Sunday, June 4th, 2006
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del.; former U.N. chief weapons inspector Hans Blix.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Former Vice President Al Gore; author John Updike.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Rice; Blix; Sens. George Allen, R-Va., and Carl Levin, D-Mich.
I have been doing research on TIME and NEWSWEEK - looking for them at checkout counters - the true measurement of circulation. They have been displaced from those prime spots for a few years, replaced by O and Martha Stewart, and TV Guide and yes, the Globe!
oops! wrong quote. should have been this: Agreed. I saw a Drudge item posted yesterday in that ABC was gaining over MTP & FNS lost 14% of it's audience.
Thanks for the insight. It begs the question of why the press fails to understand and report this? So quick to jump to conclusions against our side, they seem to fall flat in evaluating others.
Kristol sucks.
Part of it may be what is considered a felony. I am not a lawyer, so I am not sure what is involved.
I get your point
Brit does not want it. He wants to be on the panel so he can comment more, as opposed to leading the discussion as he does on Special Report.
:-) No problem.
Hillary does not have to do much to win this race in a landslide. The polls have shown that her constituents most of which are Dems do not want her running for President. They prefer she continue as Senator. She went on her listening tour before to Central and Western NY and lied through her teeth about helping those areas that have no jobs or few jobs because of Corporations and large Businesses leaving NY because of high Taxes, outrageous Regulations, and unfriendly Business atmosphere. Hillary is just biding her time until she wins in November 06,then she will really hit the campaign trail. As I have said for the last few years, she is too much of a polarizing figure and a terrible shrewish Speaker/Campaigner when the Mic is on to ever be elected President. The Dems want someone that can win, they are tired of being out of Power especially the White House, and will bounce her very soon if they can. She will not go quietly into the Sunset to just hang out in the Senate with the other 99 Egotists. She will probably have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the race because she has a lot of Money in her coffers to dole out for supporters in Congress.
Chris Wallace is wasting a lot of time trying to force Condi into naming a deadline for Iran to agree to the conditions. Just over and over.
I liked that too! What is NOT reported can be more telling than what IS reported. Great catch.
Thanks for your kind award Snugs.
Generally, the MSM approaches issues with a preconceived idea of the situation and then try to find facts supporting it. Anything that doesn't is discounted. They also lack the experience and expertise.
The same thing is true in the Denver market. Time and Newsweek are gone most of the time. The magazine itself seems smaller as well. (I don't read either but used to glance at their headlines when I'd go through.)
Reliable Sources discussing CBS's Kimberly Dozier and the continued violence in Iraq.
Panelists are "frustrated", but so far I haven't detected the merest hint of ANGER. Not a one has condemned the cowardly insurgents who bombed her convoy.
Anyone notice the number of times that Al Gore promoted the concept of overthrowing the system?
Exactly what system does he want to overthrow?
And, exactly with what does he propose to replace it?
