Iran will push for a pledge from the US that we will not attack them.
LOL... that's what I assumed. With Annan, Elbaradei & Blix in the mix... the IRANazi's will be guaranteed the 'goods' within a year... and Bush/America will be portrayed as 'mean-spirited'.
I repect you experience and opinion. Thanks for your perspective. It will be "interesting" to watch.
Very good and we should keep track of them.
My list so far (feel free to add on) for this year:
Spying on American citizens (turns out to be listening to calls from overseas terrorist sanctuaries)
EXXon-Mobil's CEO's excessive retirement package (not unlike some big media stars like Uncle Walter Cronkite or Tom Brokjaw)
Sam Alito's membership in a supposed white supremacist group of Princeton alumni (Ted Kennedy still belongs to a Harvard group that doesn't allow women!)
Thanks Peach!
Sure shows too many people believe a lie if it's repeated often enough.
C-span caller......"I read on the Internet that Laura Bush is moving out of the White house because of the affair between Pres. Bush and Condi Rice. Why isn't C-span covering THAT!"
Just d@mn!
If it comes to that exactly.
Here we are in 2006 talking about Gore and Hillary in 2008. Gimme a break.
You didn't know that?
Speaking of Wallace, I read his father's book.
I have never read such claptrap and self-serving prose in my life.
He knew and "loved" Shirly Mclain but they never were intimate. He left his wife after 25 years of marriage because they "grew apart". Left her for the widow of another news anchor or another.
And not one single word, get this...on the CLINTONS!
After reading the book I had to take a shower. I cannot stomach the man. Much as I hate to suggest it, my disgust translates to a distrust of his son.
I could be wrong but I will always regard Chris Wallace with jaded eyes.
The CSpam calling must be reading "The Globe". I saw the headline while waiting on line to buy groceries last week. ;^D
It's just hard to believe polls when they are so often wrong and one learns how they are conducted. If they cannot be believed and too often inaccurate, what good are they?
I wish they'd give FNS to Brit Hume. Wallace isn't worth a dime.
It is the battle of sound bites. No real analysis or going into depth on a subject. It is "Gotcha" journalism.
This morning some NTY babe was on C-SPAN, and a caller pointed that out to her.
I almost wanted to smack my TV... she still acted the fool "yeah it really is odd that Bush does not get more credit, becuase the economy really is quite good"
Tim Blair records Bush Derangement Syndrome from November 2000.
When I lived in the Caribbean back in the Seventies, I subscribed to the Telegraph airmail edition, so I read scary headlines three days after I had heard the defusing of the crisis du jour by listening to BBC radio. It had a very calming effect on my ability to tolerate crisis journalism.
