Speaking of Wallace, I read his father's book.
I have never read such claptrap and self-serving prose in my life.
He knew and "loved" Shirly Mclain but they never were intimate. He left his wife after 25 years of marriage because they "grew apart". Left her for the widow of another news anchor or another.
And not one single word, get this...on the CLINTONS!
After reading the book I had to take a shower. I cannot stomach the man. Much as I hate to suggest it, my disgust translates to a distrust of his son.
I could be wrong but I will always regard Chris Wallace with jaded eyes.
To be fair, Chris Wallace did pretty much say his father had in his old age become a senile, blithering idiot in view of his pathetic drivel President Bush... and I think he was serious about the pathetic drivel part.
