I agree with you 100%. Gay marriage is an important issue, but it is not anywhere near the paramount issue for me. To gain back my approval and the approval of people like me the President has to change his stance on the borders and stop pushing one of the most destructive pieces of legislation this country has ever seen. Then he needs to do start to attack the out of control spending that we've seen under his administration. I'm sick of seeing him push new entitlements and government programs as the solution to almost everything and i'd love to see him wield that veto pen.

If his approval drops further he'll probably get more conservative, might even look at that house bill, or get out that pen.

The Marriage Protection Ammendment issue is the number one priority for me. ALL other issues are derivative. For any unbelievers out there, healthy famlies raise healthy conservatives, which then grow up to give a damn about taxes, border security, and terrorism. Call your Senators and give 'em hell!

I also agree. He needs to get right on immigration. I don't know what "hair he got up his ###" that makes him thing we'd buy this Senate Illegal Alien Abortion bill, but he's got another think comin'!
