Coop...do you ever get over to the Freeper rallies at Walter Reed?
One of my goals in life it to make it down there to stand outside there against the Code Pinkos.

Just wondering, when your adrenaline was pumping, was your life on the line?

How do you know that Bush order this training?
He has left everything else to the military so far...why would he tell them what to do now?
Besides, you see his public, diplomatic-speak...I bet behind the scenes he is as angry with Murtha and the MSM as most of us are..

I have been saying this on every thread. I heard her say that on CNN of all places. Through the interpreter.
She knew the bomb was going to go off so she covered her ears. The terrorists were part of the family.

I did not know about this.
Let the media share this with the American people.
Thanks for pointing this out.
To: SuzyQ2
I just read "The Bridge At Dong Ha" for the 10th time last month. Col. Ripley is an American hero as is Jim Smock.

Would be a good statement, if true. However, it is not. Thanks for trying though.

Coop...do you ever get over to the Freeper rallies at Walter Reed? Yes, I've been to many of them. They're a fine group of folks, standing proudly for an even finer groups of heroes and their family members. Another friendly face is always welcome!

But it benefits no one if we do not attempt to understand the men involved and the dynamics of the system, and how it all could have temporarily broken down, if it did.
Well, let's just wait until there are charges, if any, and convictions, if any, before we begin fretting about the men, or the system, which may have broken down.

Thank you for the link. That gives me the name Safa Younis Salim, but I can't find the quote about her covering her ears as the convoy approached. I guess it will come out in time though. I hope so.

I just can't read this article through to the end.
I pray that the Marines and their families who are being defamed and persecuted know that we stand behind and with them and are praying for justice for them.
We cannot send our young men off to war and treat them like this. It is one of the most shameful disgusting things I've ever witnessed. May God have mercy on us.
To: londonboy
thats little shots of adrenaline not sustained long periods of running on adrenaline which can affect vision , breathing and even cause hallucinations. Its different than waking up and seeing you've slept through the alarm and are late for the office.

To: SE Mom
It doesn't make sense, does it? We need to get the weak-kneed politicians and media out of this war. Our young men and women sacrifice their lives daily so these idiots are free to criticize them. It seems okay with some of our politicians and media that our military men and women are met by Islamic men, women, and children who are willing to blow themselves up in order to kill them. Yet, it seems they are willing to blame and punish our military without benefit of proof if an insurgent, Jack Murtha or a member of the media makes an accusation against them. Something needs to be done about relieving men of their posts before they've been convicted.

The Israelis did not blow up houses at randomYou're right and I didn't mean to infer that they picked houses at random. I wasn't clear on that.
To: Baynative
If she knew the explosion was coming, then so did everyone else in the house - the conspirators, the collaborators, the confidants, the enemies.Good catch! Too bad our "investigative journalists" have a hard time picking up on such details.
